Sorry for being absent for so long. I've been in a weird spot regarding my photography. Feeling unoriginal and a confused about my work, if it is truly 'me'. But I've decided that I will continue and create whatever makes me happy, whether people like it or not is up to them, unfortunately I cannot please everyone.
I'm glad that I finally got this piece completed, it's been in the back of my mind for three or four months and I could't seem to get to it.

Sick day.
Poor little Marshmallow was woken up at 2:00 this morning with a fever and a severe case of vomitosis, so we've been having a very quiet day watching the little guy sleep in the middle of the living room.
Also, see that pink fabric Marshmallow is laying on? That's Sylvia's Christmas gift to me, however for the time being it seems to be the perfect napping blanket and so I have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to use my lovely new pink housecoat.
Still behind with flickr. I'll be playing catch up tomorrow and Monday most likely after my guests leave.

This is my mosaic artwork "spiraling in". The outside is covered in glass, the inside is a combination of mosaics and mixed media artwork.
Not stop the growth of our nature, it's part of life and we must take care as well as ourselves, not stop nature... lets butterflies fly

the camera had a roll inside. you can see it better here. it belonged to a member of my family who is now dead. this was his first camera: i found a note with it. he got the camera in 1956 and stopped using it in 1987, buying a new one. but there was a roll, forgotten. i didn't see it coming, i just wanted to clean the inside (so some light leaked on the film... shit). i don't expect much from this roll, i musnt't have any hope on it, but i'll bring it to the photolab and ask them to develop it. it's diapositives... i'm sobbing a bit.
We saw this adorable man sewing inside his little workshop in Gozo, fixing his grandkid's backpack :)

The Hello Chips/Doritos are one of my all time favorite pieces of re-ment. There are individual nacho cheese chips in the bag! The little package of Jelly Belly jelly beans is really great too.

Peppers: As I've said before, while I'm no master chef--I can chop, add seasonings & sauté on a stovetop like a pro. So that's how I earn my keep in the kitchen & at dessert time. :)

Kaitimar's mini Batmobile, with a couple of twists of my own.

I continued the fluid line of the cockpit towards the back and I lowered the "wings" into a more dynamic position. The "nose" is a little more aggressive on my version and I also added some contrasting details.

It's a simple build, with common parts, yet the result is quite nice in my opinion. I wish the Batmobile polybag would have something more like this inside.
I know, this is super late, but I was waiting for someone special! Aaand now I can finally upload :)
Biscuit came to live with us and i'm overjoyed, seriously. I can't put it down! I was so impatient for the battery to charge, haha, and when it finally charged I went to my mum 'MUMMY, BISCUIT HAS FULL CHARGE!!!' haha, I know. I sound like an idiot. :p
But i'm totally in love. Everything I wanted it to be, and more! I haven't worked out much, as you can see here, I'm gonna start reading the manual tomorrow :)
BUT YEAH. I AM EXTATIC. The focus here is EVERYWHERE but this is what you get. I love Biscuit far too much already. many happy days ahead, ey :3

Second shot :) This was taken inside a carpark, and a long exposure I think. I'm surprised that this actually looks a lot like a heart. The red parts look like ventricles sort of, and the two huge pipes look like arteries ;P
I think I took over 1000 shots on this photo shoot, which I don't advise to anyone else :P I'm still sifting through photos two weeks after the shoot.
What's your opinion on this one? It looks so much better viewed on black!
After the elevation in Paris (in the previous picture), going down in another place : inside the retro-futuristic architecture of the Atomium in Brussels.

You know when you're at the vet's and the technician takes Fluffy out of the office to do whatever it is they need to do and you can hear that Fluffy is not a happy camper and after 10 minutes the technician and Fluffy return to the room and while Fluffy hisses and struggles to get away by any means necessary and the sweating technician smiles serenely and says Fluffy was an angel and tries to hide the bleeding scratches on her hands and arms?
Well... here's an inside secret. Some cats are actually NOT angels at the vet's and so they get wrapped into kitty burritos to even out the odds just slightly. We're bigger but cats come with 18+ claws and razor-sharp, bacteria-covered teeth and they're not afraid to use them. Burritoing a cat means we only have to worry about the razor-sharp, bacteria-covered teeth!
Fun fact: Serafina, the cat pictured above, is actually a male but 16 years ago a little girl wanted a girl kitten and her family obliged and asked us to keep up the ruse and we have ever since.
Apollo update: For the past three days Apollo has shown enough interest in food to eat a few treats and around 10-15 dry kibbles. Not much but a step in the right direction.
