Since my picture was explored I feel I have to explain it. It is my contribution to the Swedish flickr group “Photo Sunday” on the theme “color”. The idea for this picture came up to me while I was preparing a picknick for lunch, I filled a small bottle with ketchup to take away and thought about what might happen if I changed ketchup by mustard. Our children hate mustard and they probably would wondered that it is the wrong COLOR.
@Fotosöndag: När jag funderade på veckans tema såg jag framför mig hur jag skulle lägga pennor i olika mönster eller arrangera en bild med en gammal färgpalett från tiden när jag målade med oljefärg. Men sedan kom något annat emellan. Igår gjorde jag i ordning en picknick med varmkorv och fyllde över ketchup till en liten flaska för att ta med. Då kom jag att tänka på vad som skulle hända om jag av misstag skulle fyllt på senap - det som barnen avskyr så mycket. Antagligen skulle de ganska omgående reagerat på att det var FEL FÄRG :)

Sorry for being absent for so long. I've been in a weird spot regarding my photography. Feeling unoriginal and a confused about my work, if it is truly 'me'. But I've decided that I will continue and create whatever makes me happy, whether people like it or not is up to them, unfortunately I cannot please everyone.
I'm glad that I finally got this piece completed, it's been in the back of my mind for three or four months and I could't seem to get to it.

May I toss that thought in about chaos and all that it entails. It fails to gasp all that wraps around the entire how the world works. What seems quiet means you have been fooled conforming to status quo of average. Hidden in plain site.

Ranunculus, a whole bouquet, all different!
I love Ranunculus, the multi-layered blooms opened beautifully, not always evident, their stems are extremely delicate and do tend to just collapse before the bud can open into a gorgeous voluptuous bloom...

9-patch quilt top made with momo wonderland fat quarters, a coordinating shot cotton square thrown in to each 9-patch block + a muslin center square.
this is the largest quilt top i've made so far . . . it's huge!

I had the honor of creating this cake for some very good friends of ours who got married over the Easter weekend.
3 tier chocolate mud cake with chocolate ganache. The bottom & middle tiers were 5 1/2 inches and top tier measured 6 1/2 inches. Peony, roses and topper all made from fondant.
Everyone loved the cake and I got lots of wonderful comments about it at the wedding.
I also had to dismantle the cake at the wedding and man!! that was so strange!! It's funny you spend hours and hours on a cake and then to take it all apart is quite a freeing experience!!
Wishing our lovely friends a long and happy life together!!
Papette and Princessa are sizing each other up, Leprotta is like "uhh... you probably don't want to hang out with them" and Pandal and Pajelle are discussing how long it'll be before the new girl gets into trouble.
