After a break of a few months, it is with emotion that I find my Flickr family. I am going to try to post a photo a week. Thank you to all those who leave me nice messages, good weekend.

Derrière cette photo ce cache un drame. Le jour où je l'ai prise, il y avait beaucoup de vent et je pensai que le papillon s'accrochait à la fleur. Mais en regardant de plus près ont aperçoit des pattes d’araignée derrière un pétale, il est fort probable que le papillon ne bougeait pas car le venin le paralysait.

Behind this picture there is a drama. The day I took it, there was a lot of wind and I thought the butterfly was hanging on to the flower. But on closer inspection we see spider legs behind a petal, it is very likely that the butterfly was not moving because the venom was paralyzing it.

Something so little holds so much life

The Comma gets its name from the comma shaped marking on it's underside. Taken at Sidings Lane Nature Reserve, Rainford, UK

A bit like Trump at the moment

Three years that I look for them, every time bad photos; and there .... I come across a flock.

They fly and move just like hummingbirds. Like them, they can remain suspended in the air in front of a flower while they unfurl their long tongues and insert them in flowers to sip their nectar.
