I’m currently making two plush dolls for a special project, so I thought I’d share some in progress pics and talk about making them. :)

The dolls are both happy (and unhappy) with their new smiles, and can’t wait for me to finish them! I’ll be revealing their names & backstories when they’re completed.
To be continued...
I'm making this quilt to cover an 8 ft by 2.5 ft kitchen window that gets wicked glare during the summer evenings. When the sun shines through the fabric it looks surprisingly like a real stained glass window. I finished quilting today-just need to add the binding. Fabric: "Avalon" by Hoffman.
[workshop ref] - What the wig originally looked like. This wig had a good base lift, but was obviously way too wavy...
My carnifex carapace.
The body of the carnifex is dark mottled blue with teal mottled highlights. All the hard armour bits are iridescent blue-white. I haven't decided what I want the blades to be yet....either black with the iridescent glaze or maybe white?

Then I sew their eyes on after adding eyeshadow and blush.
This was going to be for Rhinebeck, then it was going to be for Christmas, now I'll just be happy if I get to work on it some on my Christmas vacation.
Love this knit so much, but had to get some other things done. I know that when I do get it done, I am going to wear the heck out of it.
damn skylight filter decided to huck in it's own little spots into the photo. Anyhoo, this is just another shot of this crazy buick on bags thats been chopped and channeled. Has a 350 and is actually drivable at that ride height. Shot not super crisp because it was hand held for 1/2 second.
Yes I know this is suppose to be a baby quilt but the person it was intended for had a tiki bar so it was very appropriate. Top is done, just needs quilting.
Doing the trunk on the 1st Tree in color pencils. I lost mine, but I found some strays in my little bro's room so I used them.
Arbitrarily twisted surface with triangular protrusions normal to the surface at their centerpoint. This is the current output from my paracell rig which allow for a set of cells to be populated along a group of arbitrary guide splines. The cells keep uniform spacing along guides and deform to accommodate curvature.
Now that I have a good bit of the basic infrastructure for this system created I need to start looking at cellular geometries more interesting than triangles and pyramids. It's also time to jump out of the surface play and start thinking about programming, use and their relationship to geometry.
