3 of them will be for a swap at Mail Me Some Art: acrylics, ink, gesso, hand carved stamps, toilet paper rolls (for circles and oblongs), stencils. Most of these have a LOT of layers of paint and gesso.
The most effective combination was the Deleter Black #1 ink with the 10" bamboo skewer. The 8" skewer had too narrow a diameter, so it didn't hold as much ink and was rather uncomfortable to hold.

When squid feel threatened, they squirt out ink to confuse or misdirect potential predators.

Ink and Dagger / Sean McCabe in the era when they still wore the vampire makeup. I think this was in 1997 at the Unitarian Church in Philadelphia. They just had released that first 7 inch. Oh yeah I had to take this photo with strobe lights flashing and that whole deal.

Here's another one. Sorry to be so gloomy ... I started out thinking I'd do something quite different! Inktense pencils and Pigma Micron. (Note this was done on a National Geographic prepaid card. You can't see the words as they got covered with windows.)
My hand hurts so much. It's not the best, I should have gone darker, but my hand's sore as it is. I made the hair the only...more symmetrical and not cross hatched to see if that would make it stand out. I think I failed but it was fun to do. For school, done with ink.

Yeah, these looked like a zombie apocalypse. Hope that doesn't mean anything! This took forever to dry. For school, made with ink.
This is a quote from the book, Hind's Feet on High Places. The flower (which in the book is yellow) is growing in the desert. It is the only growing thing except for a few straggly cactus and it grows in a place where a pipe drips water every now and then.
Just received my latest shipment from Goulet Pens today. Noodler's Habanero ink, Noodler's Kung Te-Cheng ink (came with a free eyedropper pen & free Kuretake brush pen), Noodler's brush pen in "Galapagos" (so beautiful!!!), Pilot Metropolitan pen with fine nib, and ink samples of Noodler's Blue Ghost, Noodler's Whaleman's Sepia and J. Herbin Stormy Grey (can't wait to see how the gold in it sparkles!)
House on Long Island, passed few times, looked, drew on a spot, finished at home. Inking in large Moley.
