Ink and watercolor sketch of August's collection of beans. Local folklore is that for every fog in August there will be a snow in winter. So we put a bean in a jar for each fog in August, and remove a bean each time it snows that winter. The count is always surprisingly close. This is the first portrait I have done in a very long time, and I have a lot of practicing to do. The first time using copic in my moleskin, and they ran more then I am use to, so there was constant touching up, and finished up blotchy. Need to focus on ink control and shading.

Purging many of the ink bottles I hardly ever use. I think I went through a phase of being fanatic about ink colors and accumulated a lot. And then it got overwhelming to see so many inks piling up but never being used.
As a result, they were sold off.
