I mixed isoprophyl alcohol with cheapo ancient powder dyes for the green, purple, blue and orange. The yellow and turquoise are alcohol and acrylic paint.
I'm guessing the colors would be stronger if I used new dye powders instead of crusty ones that have been hanging around for 20 years. They are still fun!
I took a series of tattoo shots at a friends and family function a few months back. Most of my friends and family are inked. The 'stop and let me photograph your tats' convo went something like this.
Me - "Hey.. i'm photographing body identifiers. Let me snap your tats".
Victim - "Okay" - starts pulling up/ pulling down or peeling off clothes and pointing out numerous tats i'd never even noticed.
Me - "For you know.. the authorities to identify your corpse with after you're killed and mutilated."
Victim - "Damn Woman.." - Thinks a moment - " be sure to get this one then.." - takes off pants.
Apologies for the craptastic nature of this image but it was taken awhile back with a craptacular camera.
What happens when you combine Iroshizuku Yama-budo and Ina-ho inks on Stillman and Birn,zeta paper with a bit of water .....yeah. Definitely need to combine these two shades more.
