Me lo hice poco tiempo después de dejar una relación de 4 años y en parte es un recuerdo de la relación y además es una canción de uno de mis grupos favoritos.
seriously. it never fails. i inevitably spill ink all over myself. luckily, this time i did not get any on my clothes. however, i did get some on the painting i was working on. and i have learned to transfer my ink from the main jar into these smaller jars. that way if i drop my jar i don't lose all of it.
What happens when you combine Iroshizuku Yama-budo and Ina-ho inks on Stillman and Birn,zeta paper with a bit of water .....yeah. Definitely need to combine these two shades more.
Dripping hot black ink into cool water. Trying to animate it to music. YOU MIGHT WANT TO MUTE THE AUDIO. The audio driver was the Seu George version of David Bowies Ziggy Stardust as the motion driver, where loud moved the frames forward and quiet moved the frames back in time, the resulting audio is just the ambient of me talking to my son Zak as I recorded the ink drips forced into this space/time.
A new office means a new look! Photography was used to make this company feel at home in a new location in Brooklyn.
Printed on 3M silver metallic paper - the printing was done entirely in white ink.
