Infinity (symbol: ∞) is an abstract concept describing something without any bound and is relevant in a number of fields, predominantly mathematics and physics. In mathematics, "infinity" is often treated as if it were a number (i.e., it counts or measures things: "an infinite number of terms") but it is not the same sort of number as natural or real numbers.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity_Bridge

The Infinity Bridge is a public pedestrian and cycle footbridge across the River Tees in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees in the north-east of England. The bridge is situated one kilometre downriver of Stockton town centre, between the Princess of Wales Bridge and the Tees Barrage and it links the Teesdale Business Park and the University of Durham's Queen's Campus in Thornaby-on-Tees on the south bank of the Tees with the Tees Valley Regeneration's £320 million North Shore development on the north bank.

I had the idea of using an infinity mirror for light painting some years ago, just after I found a perfectly fine mirror tray someone discarded. It was only recently that I decided to follow through so I attached Plexiglas with one way mirror film on top of the tray and an RGB LED strip on the inside with controller+battery on the back. This is my first test with it. I just love to transform junk into LP tools.

Haddo Country Park has been recognised as one of the country's best green spaces with a prestigious Green Flag award. Haddo Country Park impressed the judges with it's excellent use of green space, well maintained facilities and high standard of safety and security.

Haddo Park was established in 1979 and was accorded country park status in 1980.

Haddo Country Park covers around 100 hectares comprised of estate policies, grassland, plantation and mixed woodland, lake and ponds. The landscape, of which the Country Park is part, is listed in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland as an outstanding representative of the early 18th and mid 19th century landscape styles.

The park is currently undergoing major renovation, as part of the Heritage Lottery Fund, including restoration of many of the historic monuments. Part of the renovation has included creating a new trail through Craigie Wood, opened in January 2014. A new visitor centre and adventure playground opened in 2014.

The park is a pleasant mix of open water, mature tree planting and grassland, some of which contains a diverse range of wildflowers. The backbone of the park is the central drive, reputed to be one Scots mile in length stretching from the back door of Haddo House to the commemorative urn at the top of the Deer Park. Much of the Deer Park is let for grazing but visitors are able to walk right round the edge of the Deer Park on mown grass.

On the way down the central drive you will cross the ponds at the head of the lake and here our helpful ducks, swans and geese will check to see if you are carrying any heavy bread which is weighing you down and hindering your progress through the park. Areas of the lake edge are fenced and screened. This is in order to provide secluded nesting locations for the lakes many and varied resident birds. Visitors are requested to avoid entering these areas.

The park is home to a wide range of wildlife including resident red squirrels, which are seen daily, especially in winter.

Thanks for all views, group invites, comments and fave adds :)

That's the beast, all huge lens and gigantic body. There was actually a midget in the room who carried it around while she was in between shots.

No, Two midgets.

The other side to that shot is HERE.

Holding two cameras and not thinking about reflections, an unexpected selfie behind the infinity of light dots.

What is infinity? Is this one?

Took this one in elevator yesterday.

Day 112 of 365

I took this photo in July 2010 and it's been here on my stream since January of this year when I first started my Flickr journey. I revived it today to mark 11/11/11.

It makes me think of infinity, as do all those ones in today's date.

A dear friend I've known since we were just 13 recently gave me a gift for no reason at all. He knows how much I like to take photographs, so he decided to send me two photo canvases to use for any of my photographs to hang in my home. (He encouraged me to use 'art' photos rather than family photos, just to push my creative boundaries.) This is one of the images I chose. I thought of the infinite nature of solid friendship like the one we've built since we met in 8th grade. I finally finalized the order two days ago and it's on it's way. Seems like a fine day to show my gratitude here.

Thank you, Bob Schwartz. This is the most generous gift you could ever give. I know the stuff your heart is made of. You will always be Bobby to me.

A 2.5 minute exposure of Stockton's Infinity Bridge taken during one of the most amazing sunrises I have ever witnessed.

Some Infinities are bigger than other infinities

during winter vacation, I was going through www.lightstalking.com/ & there I learned about The Light Painting.

With the help of my cousin, Harshit, I asked to make a free hand gesture in the air while holding a LED, which glows red-blue on alternate.

the result was overwhelming for me.

Mother, some infinities have yet to be spoken.

Discovering the album, which has the best title ever, and fabulous artwork.

Mother is the third-best track

www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5nBuFwVFoA.

The second-best track? It was supposedly inspired by her cat watching the sink.

And the best track?

I had no clue about its existence when I purchased the album. The best track is, without any doubt, the 11th track, hidden, a ghost track, with amazing lyrics, symbols, and harmonies.

Tentative lyrics:

... And I, the eager cup held up high

And behind, etched before me

Like a ball bounced eternally

The worlds came and went, then came again

And then I saw all that was ever to see...

I have been listening to the album over and over and over, even tried to look up references, which, unexpectedly, brought me to a Reddit thread about a gothic series of video games.
