The Infinity Bridge is a public pedestrian and cycle footbridge across the River Tees in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees in the north-east of England. The bridge is situated one kilometre downriver of Stockton town centre, between the Princess of Wales Bridge and the Tees Barrage and it links the Teesdale Business Park and the University of Durham's Queen's Campus in Thornaby-on-Tees on the south bank of the Tees with the Tees Valley Regeneration's £320 million North Shore development on the north bank.

the infinity Pool at the Marina Bay Sands Skypark.

Was there with the wife & we were fortunate to be able to get to view the pool. From what I understand, the management only aceded to the request to view the pool after 7pm.

We were part of the 1st 1000 visitors to visit the Skypark

Details of the Skypark:

The Sands SkyPark is an architectural masterpiece sitting on top of the three hotel towers at Marina Bay

Sands. This 1.2 hectare tropical oasis is longer than the Eiffel Tower is tall and large enough to park four-anda-

half A380 jumbo jets. It extends to form the one of the world’s largest public cantilevers.

• 200 meters in the sky

• Landscaped gardens are home to 250 trees and 650 plants

• 12,400 square meters of space big enough to fit three football fields

• Exclusive restaurants including The Sky on 57, helmed by Singapore’s celebrity chef Justin Quek

• A spectacular public observation deck that can host hundreds of people

• A 150-meter infinity swimming pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height

Last one of the series of slow water beach shots for the moment. Two Kood ND4's + Kood 2X Grey graduated filters on the front of the lens were used to achieve a 25sec exposure and milky water effect, I liked the way the sunrise pink light was picked up by the top of the posts

Slowly approaching infinity [simplicity]

Part of the Infinity Bridge, a foot and cycle bridge over the River Tees. Its name, suggested by the public, comes from the similarity of the shape of the bridge and its reflection to the infinity symbol. (The combination looks more like a bowling pin to me.)

The arched section is nearly 200 yards (180 metres) long, the decking extending some way either side. The bridge connects a university campus to a development area. Its deck is concrete and its arches made of box-section steel. Blue and white lights illuminate the deck at night (photo here).

Work on the bridge began in 2007 and was completed in 2009. Responsibility for its design is disputed, Spence Associates and Expedition Engineering both claiming primacy. Wikipedia has more about the structure.

Haddo Country Park has been recognised as one of the country's best green spaces with a prestigious Green Flag award. Haddo Country Park impressed the judges with it's excellent use of green space, well maintained facilities and high standard of safety and security.

Haddo Park was established in 1979 and was accorded country park status in 1980.

Haddo Country Park covers around 100 hectares comprised of estate policies, grassland, plantation and mixed woodland, lake and ponds. The landscape, of which the Country Park is part, is listed in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland as an outstanding representative of the early 18th and mid 19th century landscape styles.

The park is currently undergoing major renovation, as part of the Heritage Lottery Fund, including restoration of many of the historic monuments. Part of the renovation has included creating a new trail through Craigie Wood, opened in January 2014. A new visitor centre and adventure playground opened in 2014.

The park is a pleasant mix of open water, mature tree planting and grassland, some of which contains a diverse range of wildflowers. The backbone of the park is the central drive, reputed to be one Scots mile in length stretching from the back door of Haddo House to the commemorative urn at the top of the Deer Park. Much of the Deer Park is let for grazing but visitors are able to walk right round the edge of the Deer Park on mown grass.

On the way down the central drive you will cross the ponds at the head of the lake and here our helpful ducks, swans and geese will check to see if you are carrying any heavy bread which is weighing you down and hindering your progress through the park. Areas of the lake edge are fenced and screened. This is in order to provide secluded nesting locations for the lakes many and varied resident birds. Visitors are requested to avoid entering these areas.

The park is home to a wide range of wildlife including resident red squirrels, which are seen daily, especially in winter.

The infinity of Pixco FD-NEX / M by my modification.

Pixco FD-NEX / M is a mount adapter with helicoid (Canon FD Lens - Sony Nex Compatible).

I bought this mount adapter on Amazon in December 2022 for ¥3,899. I noticed yesterday that the infinity das not come. So, I removed the mount ring on the lens side and milled about 0.3mm with a milling machine. Now, the infinity has come.

Anyway, Pixco is sloppy. If that's true, Pixco should set the infinity a little over at them factry.

I took this photo in July 2010 and it's been here on my stream since January of this year when I first started my Flickr journey. I revived it today to mark 11/11/11.

It makes me think of infinity, as do all those ones in today's date.

A dear friend I've known since we were just 13 recently gave me a gift for no reason at all. He knows how much I like to take photographs, so he decided to send me two photo canvases to use for any of my photographs to hang in my home. (He encouraged me to use 'art' photos rather than family photos, just to push my creative boundaries.) This is one of the images I chose. I thought of the infinite nature of solid friendship like the one we've built since we met in 8th grade. I finally finalized the order two days ago and it's on it's way. Seems like a fine day to show my gratitude here.

Thank you, Bob Schwartz. This is the most generous gift you could ever give. I know the stuff your heart is made of. You will always be Bobby to me.
