AE-lock
Friday 25 August 2006
I was walking to my Dai-koku Pier in the cloudy Summer evening again.
I usually love to use program auto exposure with - 1.33 EV setting.
but I didn't know its 0 EV setting in that day.
from the first shots
my LX1 wanted to make more slower shutter speed jpgs that I had been feeling from my Nama-mugi flat gray sky,
so,
I frequently used the AE-lock by the half click of my LX1's shutter release button.
I had to pick up the EV from the part of my Nama-mugi sky to control the balance of my jpgs.
The blighter jpgs and normal jpgs were taken by the program auto exposure with 0 EV setting.
at the time of the dusk
I used the manual exposure 1/6, 1/4 with f.2.8 actively.
That was the quickest way to shoot in that dusk.
but under the daylight
I shoot freely in all directions normally.
I couldn't know the each of all its EV plainly.
so, that's simply why
I always depend upon the program auto exposure naturally.
...
a sloping rain
This series was started from Yokohama City bus station, Tou-fuku-ji ma-e.
and I was walking across the overpass of Kei-hin Kyuu-kou Ka-getsu-en station.
and I was walking through the Nama-mugi town to the Nama-mugi Junction and to my Dai-koku Pier.
When I got to my Dai-koku Oo-hashi I found three anglers upon my Dai-koku Oo-hashi ( big bridge ).
at first
I talked a little while to an old angler who came here by his bicycle.
after I took my jpgs I talked to the young two anglers who came here by his car.
15 or 20 minutes later they finished fishing and went to somewhere.
When I was talking with an old angler again on my Dai-koku Oo-hashi ( big bridge ) it began to rain.
I said good bye to him and he quit his fishing.
I left him on my Dai-koku Oo-hashi.
and I ran to the foot of K1 Nama-mugi Highway.
He was soon running through my left side with his bicycle in the rain.
It was a sloping rain from my right side, north-east.
I didn't have my umbrella.
but I didn't care about it.
because,
I could be walking in the center zone of the road under the K1 Highway to my Nama-mugi Junction.
K1 Nama-mugi Highway was just the umbrella for me.
of course,
walking on the center line of the road was naturally prohibited.
but I didn't care about it.
I got wet slightly from Nama-mugi Junction to Ka-getsu-en station.
When I got to the platform of Ka-getsu-en station it had stopped raining entirely.
I simply took the Kei-hin Kyuu-kou line to the next station, Tsulumi.
It cost 130 yen.
and I got my Yokohama City bus there.
It cost 210 yen.
when I got some other Flickr free accounts
those jpgs could be shown to you someday.

Yokohama today was cold rain Winter day.
Reiko Tosa and Naoko Takahashi were running through the Tokyo marathon now.
I was watching it at my mother's house TV monitor.
