A hiker gazing at the unforgettable, remote, almost mythical Kvalvika beach, Lofoten Islands, Norway - reached after a beautiful hike on grassy and rocky slopes, with vistas of the shimmering sea on all sides, and a long uphill slog to finally reach Ryten peak - with this breathtaking view over the desolate beach with waves crashing on its shores. The clouds swept in and out obscuring the view at times, but many intrepid hikers went out onto the rocky ledge on the cliff's edge to get their photos taken, not me! The hike was a bit easier by Norway standards, another bonus. The beach itself can only be reached hiking, but on the way down to it, we found that the footing was steep, rocky and treacherous, so we satisfied ourselves with the view from up above.
A tunnel of the metro, the infinite in front of me, the nothing that surrounds existence, the lines that give way to get out of nowhere.
I have been wanting to catch Infinity on a misty night for ages and I saw one forming, as I discovered, it wasn't that misty down by the river. Nice for a walk out though!

I was not going to post a entry for the ‘Infinity Symbol’ task on Smile on Saturday this week until just opening Flickr to check on the number of views that I had had overnight. There on my Flickr homepage was an example of the very same symbol, just staring me in my face, almost taunting me to say ‘Go on, if Flickr’s given you this example, then jolly well use it!’.
So here it is, a photo of a tiny section off my Flickr data page, tweaked a little to get the best results from the image. Very surprised that no one else has used it.

On our way from Fort William to Inverness, we spotted this pond with a view of Loch Lochy behind. We loved the view and reflections.

Just take a look outside tonight and contemplate the infinity of space.Its vastness is too huge for us to see. We’re in an infinite, never-ending, never-beginning universe.
