Infinity Bridge ( so called as when the twin arches are reflected from the still waters of the river they form the mathematical symbol for Infinity) across the river Tees at Stockton on Tees. Taken from the deck of the Teeside Princess river boat.
To the infinity ! :-)
It was a windy cold morning at Pier 1 last Sunday morning at Pier 1. The view was great with these texture in the sky and bright sun light. I see people had good time running at this pier. I did enjoy the view and fresh air and snap fotos as well. I hope you enjoy your visit of my website. Thanks :-)

“Meditation is the dissolution of thoughts in Eternal awareness or Pure consciousness without objectification, knowing without thinking, merging finitude in infinity.”

Infinity, a 385-foot yacht, built in Netherlands by Oceanco, was delivered in 2022. Its owner, Eric Smidt, CEO of Harbor Freight Tools, reportedly paid $300 million for the vessel. Infinity can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 staterooms, with 43 crew members. The interior was designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, featuring a teak deck, steel hull and aluminum superstructure. It currently sails under the Cayman Islands flag. It replaces a 291-foot yacht sold in 2022.
This was my mother during a snowstorm back in the 1940's in Woodside, Queens, New York. I liked the background, but I wanted something more interesting, so I created a texture, (which I accidentlly deleted...grrrrrr! Fortunately, I saved it here on Flickr, knowing what a ditzhead I can be!) and edited out all the distractions. The effect really gave the shot the look of getting ready to go into the light, which my mom did on Christmas of 2008. This time of year makes me miss her even more than usual....
Another meeting, another hotel, another corridor. Repeat many times this year. I can tell you that I was delighted in not doing a 365. The stress level was way down. This may have to be my shot for the 52 weeks as this is the only shot I've taken all week.
Enjoy in the lightbox

Flickr Lounge: Week 8~Shallow Depth of Field. Not quite as shallow as it could have been, but wanted to retain some of the detail.
He who chooses the infinite, has been chosen by the infinite.
He has received the divine touch, without which there is no awakening, no opening of spirit; but once it is received, attainment is sure, whether conquered swiftly in the course of one human life or patiently through many stadia of the cycle of existence in the manifested universe.
- Sri Aurobindo.
∞ I love light (lumos!) photography. This is simple, yet powerful is it not? Haha, I'd like to think so.
Nothing is infinite, it's actually the opposite of it. But then we can go on infinitely talking about nothing being infinite... you get my point.
I watched the latest Harry Potter film today, premiere style! Never got to do that but a friend kindly gave up her tickets! ;)
I'll be writing a review for the school's e-zine so hopefully I'll get you the link soon.

Deathly Hallows quote - I open at the close ∞
“To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.”
(From “Auguries of Innocence” by William Blake)
Eternity is echoing Infinity on the shores of the Ganges in Varanasi (Benaras) while the first dawn light pushes obscurity out of the picture...
