A still calm day at Buttermere with an added bonus of some stormy clouds which seem to mirror the line of the hills.
Spotted this lone tree from the train awhile back. Was great to find it a few weeks back. Hard to believe it's still standing.

A cloudy morning with not much prospect of some decent light and so just decided to put the little Infra-red conversted in to my bag

These two trees playing in a favourite local spot near to home.
Living in the southeast, I've explored most of the my local countryside. So it comes as a nice treat when I stumbled across a lone tree I've not seen before.

Glenora is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Edmonton, some of the trees appear to be as old.
St Helen's Church in Abingdon, the early parts cate back to the 12th century and is believed to be built on the site of the Anglo-Saxon Helenstowe Nunnery,
The churchyard is surrounded by 3 sets of almshouses. The architectural historian Nikolaus Pevsner declared "No other churchyard anywhere has anything like it.

March is generally a very colorless dull muddy month with dirty snow around here. So I have been having fun with a bit of Infared with the little Canon Powershot ELPH.
I edited this shot a few different ways but liked this colored one the best.
I think it could be called faux color?
It was a blast.
