This is an old self-portrait I took during the first lockdown in England.

Germans and their donkey pose in gas masks. All the warring parties would develop masks for their horses, mules and donkeys as gas was as fatal to them as humans. Obviously, this particular mask is not meant for use by a donkey.

If it's foggy on the ground but clear in the sky, that's a recipe for atmospheric photos. When I saw that that was the forecast, I had to decide what would make the best backdrop to my favorite kind of light. So I went to Oakwood, and I wasn't disappointed!
