Found some weird thing in my kitchen (again - my kitchen seems to be full of weird things...). Under the microscope (aka macro lens) it turned out to be someone's or rather something's DNA double helix. Do you remember that scientists found out that we share 99 percent of our genes with mice? I hope that won't apply to bottle brushes, too.
The Space In Between: the wire that holds it all together. The brush's width is 1 cm (0,393701 inches), the height of the part you see in the photo is 1,5 cm (0,590551 inches). The blue background is the last daylight from my living room window.

Salted caramel ice cream bar
I photographed many foods, both savoury and sweet, for this week's Crazy Tuesday's theme of "Inbetween". I got it down to a choice of six shots. This one of an ice cream bar was my final choice with a photo of mini cinnamon buns a close second. And I had a wonderful dessert after dinner with a combination of both. :-)
This American Robin is a cheerful sight. Our recent snow is melting under a clear blue sky, and the birds are active!

Beautiful, fun and exhilarating early morning walk, run and squishier bits on Saturday morning with 'H' around Delamere Forest. I'm beginning to really appreciate these woods and meres being originally from further up the Wirral we had previously only been for the gruffolo trail and to be honest with not being too much of a people person it felt a little like human zombi apocalypse with rows of families patiently moving along the trail......and I had been put off a little. I love exploring away from the crowds and going off into quieter areas.... and without the fear of getting lost!
