Driving to Cape Enrage (New Brunswick) on the twisty roads, you drop down to sea level from mist enshrouded hills on one side before heading up the next hill to the lighthouse on the Cape. In between is this vista of wet lands, the Bay of Fundy on both ends of this cape. Unfortunately the fog and mist obscured the landscape around the lighthouse.
Another Friday is here and with that another Flickr Friday challenge. For this next challenge, we want to see your take on what sits ‘Inbetween’. Your interpretation can be literal, an object between two other objects, or it can be more metaphorical. Just make it beautiful! :) We can’t wait to see what you come up with. so these were shot with a Canon EOS 1D. Noise reduction #2 on. 15 second exposures. 20 second processing time inbetween shots. camera placed on the wooden railing of our balcony...
Inbetween sanding and varnishing two internal doors this afternoon, I got out some of my props while waiting for the doors to dry ... and came up with this which is a variation on "Counting the Spoils" (ver #1)

della perfezione tecnica spesso a me importa ben poco;
soprattutto, di fronte a questo tutto il resto, che spunta là dietro, nascosto, imprigionato, sbarrato ed irraggiungibile.
ma così premurosamente illuminato, a far giorno, su un giorno che ancora non era, e chissà se sarà stato.
nemmeno questo ha importanza, ora.
fatto sta che a volte devi fermarti, e poi, fermare.

Kansas, U.S.A., along with the rest of America, has been receiving a series of significant rain episodes. This was between rains. Last about 2 hours.... Some areas of the country, including western Kansas, received snow in May. Also southeast of Kansas, thunderstorms from the same slow - moving system spawned tornadoes as well as floods.

Last summer while traveling from the Grand Tetons to Moab, we spent a night in Green River, Wyoming because it was along the travel route. This was the view out of our hotel window. We didn't plan on finding pleasing views when we were passing through, but they were unavoidable in much of this region of the country!
