inbetween photos on Flickr

I've been wanting a picture of this part of the hogback since I moved here (this is my backyard...well technically it's open space behind me) but the lighting is never right. There are actually 4 separate ridges in this shot though you may be able to discern only one or two. I constantly am looking for lighting that illuminates each ridge in a distinct manner but it never seems to happen. Today, the clouds were so dramatic that I decided to shoot even if the ridge lighting wasn't good.

This was my sunrise location today. Wasn't much of a light show by Mother Nature but it was still great breathing in the sea air so early in the morning.

Low tide coincided with first light today, so it was pretty easy to get around the headland to line everything up for the shot I had pictured in my head
