Aluminum foil, toy of fast food and piece of luster.

Continuing on with my last shot's theme, a sort of when nature meats civilization type shot. You're looking at the Placer Street bridge crossing at Clear Creek. It's a pretty cool bridge to drive across because you're not expecting this sudden crossing over the canyon. It's hard to feel the scale, but the bridge is well over 100 feet tall and it's spanning at least double that. Standing at the bottom of the footings and looking up is dizzying.

I couldn't find much info about this bridge, but I do know that it's fairly new because the old road actually loops through the canyon behind me, crossing on a more conventional bridge. We found a narrow strip of dirt to park on up by the bridge and walked down the old road to get down the Clear Creek. I took many different compositions of the bridge and this one did the best job portraying just how tall it is.

The conditions were tough because it was a cloudless day at about 2 in the afternoon. To counter the bright areas of the sky and left bank, I shot a 3-shot bracket from -2 to +2. I loaded up my lens with my .6 stop ND filter and CPL to keep the blue sky blue and harsh reflections to a minimum. I choose f/11 which netted me a .4 second exposure for the +2 shot. That gave me a perfect amount of movement in the water.

Michelle made this from a recipe at Recipezaar as part of a recipe rating project.

After simmering for just shy of an hour on the stove top, she poured it out into bowls and added some fine cinnamon before chilling. These shots were taken after it had chilled substantially.

Considering that rice pudding is not my preference, this was actually quite good. It was smooth and creamy, and not too sweet. Of course, using the finest and freshest cinnamon you can locate helps a lot too.

When we first began boating on the canals in the 1980s the prospect of taking a boat onto this huge structure, The Anderton Boat Lift, was an 'impossible dream'.

Built in 1875 the lift carried boats vertically the fifty feet from the River Weaver up to the Trent and Mersey Canal - and vice versa. It was in use for over a hundred years but was eventually closed due to corrosion.

It remained closed for many years until British Waterways launched a restoration plan. The millions of pounds needed for the restoration came from many places - including the Heritage Lottery Fund and over 2000 individuals who donated their own money.

The 'Impossible Dream' became reality in 2002 when the lift reopened to boat traffic. The site also now includes a visitor centre and exhibition building. Well worth a visit if you are ever in that area of Cheshire.. The only other boat lift in Britain is the Falkirk Wheel which is a modern structure - also opened in 2002.

High speed photo of a glass flipped near a wine bottle.

I timed the splash so it struck the mouth of the bottle, then flipped the image to make the illusion.

No photoshop was used -- just physics!

It took about 40 takes to get it right ...and 3 broken wine glasses!

Glass was flipped with a home built rig, triggered with a StopShot flash trigger.

The scene was lit with two SB-800 flashes in softboxes, set to 1/16th power. One flash was connected to the flash trigger, the other was set to optical slave mode.

Image was cropped and rotated, some adjustments to exposure and saturation levels were made.

185-192/365 Top pics of the recent trip to Cuba. Took several different cameras but my favourite by far was the Polaroid 600 with Impossible Film. It worked like a charm even in the hottest city where my sunglasses melted. Enjoyed the beach, the people, the cars and the history this wonderful country offers.

Audrey Hepburn collage... it may not look much but it includes nearly 50 hand-cut pieces and was inspired by the work of collage artist Maria Rivans.

Used one of Audrey's most famous quotes even though I've never been able to find the source so am doubtful that she ever actually said it. It came with some Impossible Polaroid film and had been languishing in a drawer for years so thought I'd put it to good use.

A fun little challenge during our photo walk with David Gibson.

manipolazione

non l' ho fatta io, ma è mia!!!

OK, maybe this looks as a bad picture. But hey, it's a polaroid, taken with my brand new impulse polaroid-camera, using impossible PX600 film. Yes, it's a very light image, due to the rather low temperature that day. And it's my first polaroid in years.

The car on the picture, by the way, is a beautiful Barkas B1000.

It was parked quite lonely in front of the O2-area at Mühlenstrasse, Berlin.

nói thật là run lắm !

Mắt đang cay lắm !

Nhưng những gì nói

Đang là cảm xúc rất thực …

đã cố níu kéo ……

đã cố nắm chặt bàn tay của mày hơn…. Nhưng

không thể… Vì

Cứ mỗi lần cố nắm chặt tay hơn thì …..

lại đẩy ra ! ….

Cánh tay không đủ rộng, không đủ lớn

Để ôm vào lòng

Và biết rằng ….

đang bị đối sử bất công……!

Những người yêu trước kia

so sánh đi….

đã quan tâm tới ai nhìu hơn !

………..

đã nói ra lời chia tay

nói ra có lẽ là hok suy nghĩ

Chỉ là vì quá yêu

sẽ cho ban. đi con đường mà chọn

sẽ không phải bận tâm về

ra sao thì mặc ke..

P yêu nguoi do là mãi mãi

Và sẽ chờ đợi

Sự chờ đợi là mãi mãi

Đợi , đợi , đợi cho đến khi tao biến khỏi cõi đời này............

Take a close look at the recommended videos and you get the answer why it's impossible to learn Yahoo Pipes.

Like my fellow Polaroid geeks, I collect bits and pieces of Polaroid paraphernalia I find along the way. And when family and friends find this fact out, they do the same.

I think I got the Jewelry Pro from my uncle who would periodically send me SX70s, Spectras, random flashes/close-up lens/stuff I can't identify.

He is/was a farmer in Eastern Oregon who I think just found stuff in his buddies barns and workshops.

The uncle well of goodies dried up a few years ago, but his collection of Polaroid finds lives on in my apartment in Portland.

figured i'd snap this for the impossible stickers/bags in the wild group

this is a lighting kit that kristen's father gave me. its got some super hot tungstens in it and he used to use them to light when he was involved in video production in the 80's/90's i love all of the cheezy television stickers that are already on it, i added the impossible sticker to continue its badass sticker lineage.

When Great Aunt Dorothy died, we sat down at Mom's dining table and sifted through boxes of trinkets that illustrated years of travel and adventure in our aunt's busy life.

My favorite is the Esperanto star button. It was supposed to be language that united all languages, but I only remember my aged grandparents and Dorothy learning it. Maybe it was a language to unite retired, bus tour, world travelers.
