The biggest lesson I learned this year is to not force anything; conversations, friendships, relationships, attention, love. Anything forced is just not worth fighting for, whatever flows flows, what crashes crashes.
It is what it is.
A photo that is impossible to duplicate now, NS train 261 (roadrailers) passes the NKP bracket post signal (now gone) being lead by a former Conrail locomotive (which is now gone too).

Also impossible is keeping up here... For now I can only keep up with those who comment and those I follow. I'm truly sorry not to be able to be reciprocal in all ways...but unfortunately I've yet to learn how to divide myself and multiply ;-) I appreciate every single person who stops to look. Not normally a time when I would choose to go out for photographs, but strong light is needed here to bring out the greens and turquoise colours - not enhanced! The location has been a closely guarded secret by the locals (one woman I know got quite defensive about it until she realised I already knew of the place).
