Via Paolo D'Amico whose brother-in-law being Italian and just as car mad as Paolo himself is , remembered what was in Paolo's garage at home when he saw an Imp DHC flying past... He only had a mobile phone with camera at hand, hence the not brilliant quality. However, considering both cars were moving at the time this picture was taken, I can only say: full marks to our Italian friend for capturing this Bella macchina Inglese!

I'm heading to the airport in an hour. I've enjoyed Malta, the car spotting, weather and food have been great. I've got loads more pictures from the trip, though most of the interesting stuff has already been uploaded. I can't decide what to do with the remaining pictures: Either I'll upload them all in a large batch of around 70 pictures, or I'll keep them and upload them in small batches, mixed in with photos from Greece over the next month or so. What would you prefer?

The Lincoln Imp is the symbol of the City of Lincoln, the county town of Lincolnshire, England.
According to a 14th-century legend, two mischievous creatures called imps were sent by Satan to do evil work on Earth. After causing mayhem in Northern England, the two imps headed to Lincoln Cathedral, where they smashed tables and chairs and tripped up the Bishop. When an angel came out of a book of hymns and told them to stop, one of the imps was brave and started throwing rocks at the angel, but the other imp cowered under the broken tables and chairs. The angel turned the first imp to stone, giving the second imp a chance to escape. It is said that even on still days it is always windy around the Cathedral, which is the second imp circling the building looking for his friend.
