A rare example of myself using photoshop-like effects on a picture, but I really liked the way that all the blossom had fallen off the trees overnight. The fact that it's such a gloomy day here means that my poor 2mp camera had trouble really picking up the scene.

Is it a bit cheesy? Maybe. I could have gone the whole hog and done a fake bokeh style shot, but I've just smeared the corners.

More image manipulation. (cropping while maintaining ratios ;) )

An experiment with painting and image manipulation for developing some characters design for my video game project. For these experiments I first painted traditionally, using a palette knife and acrylics I aimed to create interesting textures. I then scanned the paintings into photoshop and manipulated them. For this one I wanted an intense fiery look and using the shapes and colours left over began to design the rhino intended as an antagonist.
