Initially, using acrylic to capture a life study, I digitally manipulated the image to create a rotten flesh effect, draped in shadow. I was looking at 'structures' and trying to break down the human form, isolating parts of the body - in this case the skin - with geometrical shapes.

1. Combined photos: Lizard Eye, Scales, Pterodactyl Silhouette, Barcode.

2. Changed hue, saturation, contrast, levels using adjustment layers

3. Selected Pterodactyl using quick select tool and refine edge. Created a mask, Inverted colors, applied a glow effect.

4. Applied a drop shadow to "Zoo" Text

5. Used the Band Aid tool to merge edges of scales and eye images.
