Looking down while taking a turn through

I used to photograph, graphically, such 'finds' in the sands of Wrightsville Beach.
This one has been desaturated to black and white,
and then toned this tint in Photoshop.

I did make tonal and saturation enhancements during the conversion from the camera raw file, just to bring it into line with the essence I have seen in this cutting... after which I played on in Photoshop.. linked version below.
I did a bit of image manipulation with this older macro shot of a passion flower. I really miss my macro lens. Must bring it to Australia next year.

This is Cherry Knowle Mental Asylum in the North East of England designed by the Architect: George Thomas Hine it was built between 1891 - 1895 and an isolation hospital and infirmary block were added in 1902, and is 1049 ft long from end to end and with corridors over 300 ft long, its a very creepy place to be near on a dark or foggy night and i don't scare easily , patients have been know to escape form this building quite alot , its now abandoned which i think makes it more creepy , if you go inside the place alot of the old stuff is still left behind just as if they left in a hurry , operating tables , medical cabinets , beds , and even patients oil paintings.
This place is totally MASSIVE and it even has its own build in church ( which you can see in the picture, the bit with the tall roof) it has a swimming pool and a theater with stage and its own morgue to store dead bodies, all of witch has been abandoned , it was abandoned in 1995 , 100 years after it opened.
This place really is MASSIVE, it goes on and on, some corridors are over 300 ft long and the building is spread 3 floors, the church alone is over 100 ft tall, its unbelievable how big this place really is, its not possible to see it all at the same time.
This has been comented on, on TV and in the news papers as been the most haunted hospital and mental asylum in the country.
On the same grounds where this stands is the new Cherry knowle mental asylum buildings that now houses all patients , them new building are alot less creepy because they look more new ( from the 70's ) and don't look like the style of building norman Bates lives in ( physco film ) lol.

I love long exposures, everything to do with night time, the dark, sunrise and sunset.
I like to take pictures mainly at night , sometimes during the day and in dull and fading light and I will sometimes display the time and date the picture was taken too.
I tend to take pictures of Light trails, Motorway traffic, Street lights, Buildings, Landscapes, Bokeh, Night bokeh and Hexagonal Night Bokeh in and around the North East of England.
All of my pictures are 100% natural and untouched in every way without ever been Photo shopped or altered or messed about with in anyway whatsoever, No multi layered photography, No HDR's and No image manipulation of any kind, all of my pictures look just the way they did when I saw them at the time of taking and I'm VERY PROUD of that.
I don't do any photo processing at all, I don't even own any photo software.
All of my starbursts are all 100% natural without using any filters or anything else, as is all my bokeh, night bokeh and hexagonal night bokeh, its all natural, no funny gimmicks at all.
I don't do anything with my pictures apart from take them and then upload them , 99.99999% of my pictures don't even get cropped , they are all 100% natural and untouched and then uploaded.

Fishing sounds good right about now, the largest one I ever caught, a 200 pound hammerhead shark, fighting that for 45 minutes to bring it to the boat. Totally memorable experience, just one of those things!

Television:
Analog TV signals will be switched off around Australia, region by region, by the end of 2013.
So, to keep watching you'll need to be digital ready. Many areas are already 'digital only'. In some areas (ie remote and difficult reception capability regions), will have access to satellite transmission.
Radio:
Radio transmission is going the same way, although only currently available in city areas.
Australia has adopted a unique DAB+ format for radio, so receivers with the designation of DAB will not work here. Initially few models and brands were available for the Australian market and were rather expensive, however there is now a wide selection available with correspondingly lower prices.
You can however listen to Australian stations on DAB+ radio here on your computer!
Using Lab Color mode, in Photoshop (Image>Mode>Lab Color), I used a Curves layer to force the colors of this clover-like lifeform further apart for emphasis.
[ I might have used a Hue/Saturation Layer for "Transport" ;-) ]

The "Friends of Old Puppy" band plays at the Nabolom Bakery in Berkeley, every Saturday morning (starting at 10 a.m.).

This is a view of pattern in a macro taken at the Cobalt Gallery in Tubac. The original photo was a bit too soft, so I decided to add curves, ink outines and change the levels a bit to bring out the pattern.

An obscured view of the Beacon Hill area is also visible just after the Longfellow Bridge and in the foreground of the Government Center/Financial District skyline.

The image was uncropped. Except for "unsharp image" and the automated resizing and "screen image optimization" to reduce the diskspace usage, no further image manipulation was done.
It reminds me the chocolate factory from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"...
