Cooper, a 2-year-old yellow Lab, had a rough start in life with stomach issues, but his dog dad Sid said he is doing much better now. In fact, Sid said Cooper is “developing into a beautiful vibrant young male that I think is half duck. I could not keep him out of the water if I tried. If we could get paid for playing, we'd be rich.”
Blue is a 5-week-old “Chug” – a Chihuahua-Pug mix. “What i love about her belly is that it’s all tiny and always warm,” says her dog mom, Kristen. “She loves to roll around on her belly, and she falls asleep in my boyfriend’s arms every time he holds her. My pup is special because when she was born she had a blue stripe down her back, and that’s how she got her name.”

Siblings Sasha and Teddy are 3-year-old Yorkshire Terriers. “What I love most about their eyes is that they are so expressive!” says Joyce, their dog mom. “When they look at me, I just melt. I usually cave in to whatever they are wanting!”
Darla, an 11-year-old Maltese, had to have the mammary glands removed from the right side of her body two years ago. “She recovered surprisingly well,” says Geri, her dog mom. “She was a real trooper.”
Milo, a 5-year-old Rat Terrier mix, was rescued two years ago. "Amidst all of his small-body, huge-attitude bravado, he looks into my eyes with such loyalty and love that it melts my heart – right before he burrows under the bedcovers and goes to sleep,” says Mary, his dog mom.
