Logan is 4 years old. “He was the one that motivated me to quit my boring office ‘day job’ and start a dog-walking business so I could do what I love: enjoy the company of dogs,” says Lindsay, his pet parent. “Logan allows me to dress him up in the most ridiculous outfits, which makes him far less intimidating to those who don't know him and who would normally judge the breed by their intimidating stature."

Salsa is a 3-pound Chihuahua who is 6 years old. “I have Dachshunds and never wanted a Chihuahua, but Salsa is such a wonderful little creature,” says Amy, her dog mom. “I couldn’t be happier that she came into my life.”
Amy says Salsa is “loyal, intelligent, eager to please, loving and, of course, soooo cute.” Salsa is a champion agility dog and competes in CPE, USDAA and AKC agility.
Stella, who was 7 weeks old in this picture, is a Teddy Roosevelt Rat Terrier. “She is a chocolate tuxedo tri,” says Cathy, her dog mom. “She is just a bundle of joy and amazes us every day.”
Zoey is a 3½-year-old red Doberman. “Zoey is true Velcro dog,” says Kim, her pet parent. “She doesn’t leave my side. She loves to be around people, and run and play with my 11-year-old daughter and our other dog, is a black Lab named Maggie. She is truly unique because she is more of a person than she is a dog. She always knows if something is wrong, and knows her Momma better than anyone else.”
Ayla is 7 years old and “loves to run and play outside with our Labs. She loves long walks and riding in the car!” say her pet parents, Jeff and Marisa. “Her favorite thing is to lay outside on a bright, sunny day, feet up in the air and warming her belly!”
Milo, a 5-year-old Rat Terrier mix, was rescued two years ago. “Milo is very smart, lovable, loyal and a nice blend between a lap dog and an active, energetic squeaky ball chaser,” says Mary, his dog mom. “Milo loves any toy with a squeaker in it and will fetch a squeaky ball till you make him stop. We intentionally buy cheap, 2-for-$5 squeaky toys, just so he can rip them open, pull out all the fuzz and kill the squeaky ‘heart.’ He can totally demolish and kill a squeaky toy in less than 5 minutes.”
Sunny, a trained therapy dog who’s about 8 years old, had to wear a sock because of an injury to her paw pad. “It took a long time to heal and the sock sure helped,” says her dog mom, Katrin. “Sunny is my first canine love. My bond with her is truly special.”
Pierson is a year-old Australian Shepherd and/or Border Collie mix. In January, he was rescued by his dog mom, Dawn, from Pierson Park, where he’d been living as a stray for nearly a month. “He has adjusted quite well to his new home,” Dawn says. “He is mostly very well-behaved and very intelligent. I try to teach him new things on a regular basis in order to keep him from getting bored. The most recent trick I have taught him is to jump through a hoop.”
