I love how Sydney sleeps with all of her "feets" together.

Ava is an 8-year-old fawn Doberman, “a color rarely seen in photos or publications,” according to her dog dad, John, who adopted her from a humane society. Until then, Ava had led a difficult life. “She was caged with four other dogs and nearly starved to death,” John says. “Evidence is clear that she was definitely bred repeatedly and was physically abused.” But Ava is now a healthy, happy and enjoying a pampered life, her dog dad says. “She is incredibly caring and very much a Diva Doberman. When it’s chilly out, she will knock her coat off the hook to let me know to put it on her and take her walking. When sleepy, Ava will carry her blanket too me, so that I tuck her in… yes, a diva.”

I love dogs. I love them so much. I feel this connection with them that words can't express.

Nine-year-old Jäger is “the sweetest red/rust Doberman you’ll ever meet!” says her dog mom, Nicole, who’s had her since she was a puppy, along with two red/rust Min Pins. “Jäger loves to run with horses and protect the house,” Nicole says. “Besides that, she thinks she’s a lap dog and loves to give kisses. The thing I love most about the Doberman breed is probably their loyalty and stature. They’re truly gorgeous dogs and would do anything for their owner."

Bullseye is 1 of the client mascots from where I work. Bullseye was given to me as a prize at a department-wide raffle.

Bullseye still with me, with tongue sticking out 24/7. Haha! Bullseye's just like the industry that I work at.

There is a personality in every living creature.

Maxter just had his bath! He loves getting them because it can be very hot from where we live. It's good that he loves them because it calms him down, too.

This 4-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever is named Champ Bailey after her dog mom Jeannette’s favorite football player. “My husband calls her eyes ‘Corona eyes,’ like the Corona beer color. They are yellow and green. She is so beautiful. We love how wonderful she is with kids and smaller dogs. Her favorite pastime is water play at the beach or pool. And football , of course.”

Zoe is a Wire-Haired Fox Terrier with severe allergies. “I took her to the vet and they shaved her tail and put this silly reversed lampshade on her head,” says her dog mom, Hillary. “I love everything about Zoe, especially her spunky personality. She definitely is my daughter through and through. A good heart, but mischievous.”

Stars Litter: Flash White Dream della Corte dei Delfini Bianchi X Beautiful Eirene

Hailey, a 13-year-old Pit Bull, was adopted from a shelter 11 years ago. “She jumped on top of the crate in her kennel, stared straight at me and made the loudest/oddest noise I have ever heard, almost like she was calling me back ... at that moment I knew that was my dog!” says her dog mom, Erin, who then had to move because her apartment complex didn’t allow Pit Bulls. “We did it without question and would do it again,” Erin says.

Hailey had to wear bandages on her head due to an ear hematoma that needed sutures.

“She has filled our lives with so much love I cannot even explain it,” Erin says. “She knows when I feel bad and comes and gives me loads of kisses, and when I feel depressed she will not leave my side. Hailey and Blue (our Lab) kept me going both times my husband was on deployment.”

Kolo Boy is a 4-year-old Lab-Pit Bull mix who loves to chase the fish in a backyard pond. “It's hilarious whenever we catch him staring at butterflies in amazement, then tries to catch them,” said his dog mom, Crystal.

One look at him, and the name Ollie comes up naturally.

Sydney and Addy are bored and see other puppies playing outside... they want to play too.

Mira is a Bernese Mountain Dog who was abandoned when she was 18 months old and adopted when she was 2. “She is a little floozy, LOL!” says her dog mom, Elaine. “She’s always on her back to show her belly. Her belly is soft and what I like most about it is that’s it’s warm (and warms my hands during the winter).”

Mira had a rough start in life, losing most of her kidney function due to illness. “They told us she might only last six months,” Elaine recalls. “Well, let me tell you – we changed her food, walked her, made sure she drank lots of water, and guess what? She’s now 5 years old now and the best girl ever.”
