Kodi (short for Kodiak) is an 11-year-old Siberian Husky. “We got him when my son was 3 and they have grown up together,” says his dog mom, Lisa. “They have shared many adventures around the world together, living in three different countries. We love that Kodi has two different-colored eyes. Kodi is a big teddy bear and so it’s appropriate he was named after a bear. His unique quality is that he loves cats! Most Siberian Huskies don't like them. Kodi has had two cats in his life and it's beautiful to watch him with them. When our oldest cat was sick, Kodi was the one watching her and nudging her toward her food. Kodi was right there with her when she died. He licked her through her passing.”

Hana, a Yorkshire Terrier, was wearing a collar “because she had just gotten surgery to remove a cancerous tumor on her leg,” says her pet parent, Mayumi. “Even at 13 years old, she came back from surgery and was vibrant and energetic as ever. I love my dog because she is energetic and full of life. She's very affectionate and loves to sit on people's laps. She also loves to hang out on the yoga mat when it's laid out. I cannot imagine life without her.”
Thats Nannibai on R's lap. Fed up with Junior (oh he hassles her with his constant need for attention!), she needs an accessible lap to make her life bearable! Anyone sitting down and soon there will be something warm getting comfortable!
Two-year-old Freddie, aka Fredley, Fredward and the Gremlin, joined Hayley’s family almost a year ago. “He chews my clothes up, roughhouses with my two other dogs and, every once in a while, decides to pee on the carpet,” Hayley says. “He is not perfect, but that is why he fits in this family perfectly. I love how he sleeps under the covers with me every night, how he looks like a praying mantis whenever he ‘attacks’ his biscuits, how he zooms around the house in random spurts of energy, but most of all, how he sticks his pink little tongue out whenever he's concentrating on something too hard. “
Since it's just too dang cold out... we needed a way to keep the dogs occupied. So we filled some easter eggs with treats and hid them around the house... they "hunt" for them and then we don't have to walk them... yah! But then we spend an hour cleaning them up. Rats.
