Lola is a 5-year-old Bichon. “She loves her belly rubs and I love giving them to her,” says her dog mom, Cathy. “She is so funny. If I’m rubbing her belly and I stop, she growls at me – ‘Arrrrr, arrrrr’ – sounding sort of like a pirate! I call her my ‘angel puppy’ because she came into my life at a time when I really needed her unconditional love, and I am sure she was heaven sent.”
Fritz, a 7-month-old Toy Fox Terrier, was 5 months old in this photo. “Fritz is wearing a splint after he took a tumble down a flight of stairs at a friend's house and broke his leg,” says Rebekah, his dog mom. “Fritz now has to ask for a pat-down from TSA since he can't go through a metal detector – he has a titanium plate with six screws in his leg!” Rebekah loves Fritz for his spirit and comical personality: “He is a hilarious little dog, and at his last dog show he had the judges and the crowd in stitches because of his antics!”
Frankly, my pug, I don't give a damn.

Flix lost another of its beloved fourleggeds, four-year old Ella. With sympathies to Elizabeth, and also to my dear friend, Andrea, whose beautiful senior golden, Sadie, died last week.
Passport is a 3-month-old Beagle who “loves to get his big, round belly scratched,” says his dog mom, Elizabeth. “My husband had lost his passport and tried to retrace his steps but instead found this little guy (hence the name) and brought him home!”

Kirby is a 1-year-old, possibly Bull Terrier-Jack Russell Terrier mix. “She looks just like the Target dog,” her dog mom, Samantha, says. “You should see how spoiled she is! She came from a kill shelter in North Carolina to my warm, comfy bed. Kirby is so smart, just by looking in her eyes I know she listens and understands me.”
Samantha loves Kirby's belly “because it’s so soft, and when I give her pats on her belly, it sounds like a jug of water!”

This is Poncho the Pointer, he is around 15 months old and was full of beans. His family told me he came to live with them after his first owner re-homed him, he seemed really happy and the kids all loved him.
I'm sorry I didn't get more pictures of him but I had left the Holga on the bulb setting :( silly billy!
This was taken at Tollymore Mountain Centre, where I work on the w'ends.
