Apple's iMessage may be killing text messaging - or the text messaging revenues made by network operators, at least.
The new iOS 6 web preview opened this summer, where users can look at the new os and watch videos of interaction, such as the new music player. Apple chose to ditch the outdated glossy buttons for what people would hope would be updated, sleek, minimal design, only to be let down. The design as a whole no longer has the concept of innovation, but rather nothing but copying.

Since march of 2011 I got it to run OSX with QE/CI graphics fully enabled ( self-made kexts ) :
Satellite L500 c2d 4gb / Ati 4650 1gb , runs Snow and Lion as well and is a extremely reliable MBP 15inch replacement. Actually only one single component refuses to work : wifi. But it has been replaced with a working usb solution - and with "PDAnet" or "easytether" apps both jailbroken iOS5.x and my Android Galaxy Y can share their wifi and 3g connection with OSX.
Currently running 10.7.4 in full 64bit mode everyday : Perfect.
Day 157, June 6, 2011's photo of the day
Today was probably the best WWDC keynote in a long time. Lion, iOS 5, and iCloud. While Lion and iCloud are very important, they all related to iOS 5 and what the future is going to bring. I no longer believe that the term "smartphone" is a good one - an iPhone is a small computer you can use as a phone, and iOS 5 proves that. The amount of new features coming [many of which are still under NDA] is staggering. Apple shows it knows how to build a product and software that Just Work, while Google is focused on a feature list and doesn't appear to care about user experience. This will become even more clear this fall when iOS 5 is out [a free upgrade, for all 3GS, 4, iPad and the last 2 generation of iPod Touch owners].
So yeah, a boring post, but today was prettying mind-blowing for developers and in a few months, it will be for consumers too.
As seen on www.vjl365.com.
This was the second screen of my iPhone after I upgraded to ios 5 (I've lost all my apps - not happy jan).
