howdy! i wore my "i heart dorks" shirt on valentines day. one guy said "it's so cool that you didn't wear a shirt with a heart on it!" and then said "ohhhh" as he got a better look.
this look is soooo '80s with the hot pink belt. suddenly though, the hot pink belt is my favorite accessory. =)

I manage to get a few decent BIF shots at Hughenden last week, there was literally hundreds of these in a group of dead trees and they all took to flight before I got close, but fortunately they seemed quite curious once they were in the air.
It's getting a bit warm around here and the humidity is starting to get a bit muggy on days. But I sure do love this place, every time I think about compiling and how hot it is, I remember how much the cold hurts...

i started The Perks of Being A Wallflower today. i love the format of the book and i like the style it was written in.
another shot not in front of my wall!? i just didn't feel like showing my face, but i figure that i've hidden it too much in front of the yellow, lately. so i decided to shake things up a bit.
even though i had to swim for gym today, i had a pretty good day. i have an excellent feeling about this week.

This one got removed by accident. But here it is again. Saw this guy in a swamp near a public pool. I think people had been feeding him since he seemed to show no fear and wanted to pose for photos. I think he might be the one I photographed last year, just grown up a bit.
