This photo reminded me of when I was a teenager and writing the name of my first love on my pencil case at school - lol. My first read: RT <3's SN.This is part of the bamboo trail at Adelaide botanic gardens which is completely full of these declarations of love. It is quite gorgeous really, despite the plant destruction! Young love is just the sweetest.
and I'll lie here forever
if your hand were in mine
I'd be sure they would not sever
my apple tree, my brightness
it's time we were together
for I smell of the earth
and I'm worn by the weather

Yo soy Sirio
I bring this little grain is for the Syrian people, shame is the treatment to which they are subjected, normal people, are today they can be you tomorrow for a more just world, the distribution of wealth among all peoples, by a little more human
I am Syrian
Off tomorrow, hooray, I'm making cupcakes.
White hat: same old
Apricot deep V-neck: AA
Striped pillowcase dress: AA
Leggings: AA
Brown boots: Thrift Town, SF
Red enamel owl necklace (detail): from my new favorite eBay seller, Honey Luxe. Their stuff is so darling, and the Australian exchange rate actually acts in favor of the U.S.!
Now, I'm taking all this AA crap off and remembering I'm still a sane person underneath.
I can`t be any happier...she`s the light of my smile and the origin and the end of my very best feelings...fully in love!!!!
from News Chronicle I-Spy Book cover c1955
As a young boy I really liked these books so I bought a few off eBay so I could relive flicking through the pages again. A real nostalgia trip.
Edmund Spenser, ‘My love is like to ice, and I to fire’.
My Love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
Or how comes it that my exceeding heat
Is not allayed by her heart-frozen cold,
But that I burn much more in boiling sweat,
And feel my flames augmented manifold? …
It's no secret! I do love trees! Even though these had already dropped most of their leaves they sure looked stunning against the clouds!
Fun Facts ~ This October is the fifth warmest October on record for Denver. We have enjoyed 70-80 degree temperatures with only a few days that needed a jacket. And not one single flake of snow! That has only happened 17 times since weather records have been kept. Our first snowfall averages the middle of October. We all know that when the other shoe drops, it will drop hard and we will plummet swiftly into winter, but this warm sunshine is pretty awesome!

It is a tiny flower of a plant I don’t know its name. The leaves are dotted with white and pink spots. You may have some idea from the photo in the comment box. Not the tiny snail : - )
Bonjour Jean-Claude,

Savior I come
Quiet my soul remember
Redemptions hill
Where Your blood was spilled
For my ransom
Everything I once held dear
I count it all as lost
Lead me to the cross
Where Your love poured out
Bring me to my knees
Lord I lay me down
Rid me of myself
I belong to You
Lead me, lead me to the cross
You were as I
Tempted and trialed
You are
Te word became flesh
Bore my sin and death
Now you're risen

... an empty land...
...I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
...I felt the earth beneath my feet
...Sat by the river and it made me complete...

Like many of my fellow Legographers I felt compelled to take a LEGO photo commemorating the 2nd, and AMAZING teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Here we have (presumably) Luke with his ever-trusty, and apparently rusty astromech droid R2-D2.
I really tried hard to capture this shot as closely to the original as possible. Not just in content and pose, but composition, lighting, background, atmosphere, and the final color grade. There is a very distinct look to this. Aside from the obvious orange and blue, there is a lot of greens and yellows to incorporate. Overall I'm pretty happy with the results. Please let me know what you guys think! And boy! What a teaser! Huh?!??!!?!?!

While biking along the sea stack trail on Gotland I found this stone with lichen, that perfectly expresses my feelings for this beautiful island :)

Another image taken in my home town of Whitstable
Whitstable is a seaside town in Northeast Kent, Southeast England. It is approximately 8 kilometres north of the city of Canterbury and approximately 3 kilometres west of the seaside town of Herne Bay. It is part of the City of Canterbury district and has a population of about 30,000.
Whitstable is famous for its oysters, which have been collected in the area since at least Roman times. The town itself dates back to before the writing of the Domesday Book. Whitstable's distinctive character is popular with tourists, and its maritime heritage is celebrated with the annual oyster festival. Freshly caught shellfish are available throughout the year at several seafood restaurants and pubs in the town.
In 1830 one of the earliest passenger railway services was opened by the Canterbury and Whitstable Railway Company, and in 1832 the company opened Whitstable harbour and extended the line to enable passage to London from the port. The railway has since closed but the harbour still plays an important role in the town's economy.

By "this" I mean getting made up, dressed in a lovely ensemble and modeling it for my camera and my friends here on flickr!
I just love this clingy wet look "wiggle dress" that came in my last order from coquetryclothing.com! I thought it would look good, but I didn't expect it to look _this_ good! Call me a happy (very happy) customer!
I've matched this marvelous red "Mystique" wet look lycra spandex halter style minidress from coquetryclothing.com with my Premier copper fully fashioned Euro heel stockings from secretsinlace.com and my black patent peep toe platform pumps with the 5" heels from venus.com.

If I cry, would you comfort me ... yeah
Will you love me forever?
And will you take me like no other?
Cause no I can't say

Many years ago my friends and I would spend what seemed like hours each day riding our bikes around the neighbourhood, along forest paths, and on whatever "adventures" we would make up along the way.
To help make our bikes sound like they had Harley-Davidson motorcycle motors, we would attach several playing cards with clothespins. Noisy and lots of fun at the same time.
