I had to do an absolute double take at the dailies when I read that a live cow was going to be situated smack dab in the middle of work, and yet here it is. I guess the whole thing was part of some promotional thing with Borden Milk. They send over Elsie the cow and the kids got to take pictures with her and touch her. This is of course me getting as close to those horns as I was going to get. She was a sweet thing though. Very gentle and surprisingly not smelly.
This pic was the last moment of peace I got before all hell broke loose. Tons of groups desended on the place, kids were everywhere, drama, drama, dra-MAH with visitors, and by the end of the day all I wanted to do was....workout. It was such a stressful day, but I was looking for that exercise high I missed early in the morning because I refuse, absolutely refuse to wake up at 6am. Won't do it. Today is the earliest I have to be at work, and there was no way I was going to do 6am at the gym, so off I go now to get out all my rage from the day. I MAY BE THERE A WHILE!
Since we're expecting snow here in about two days, I thought I'd finally post the pictures I took two weekends ago, when it was about 70 degrees and the girls and I spent most of the weekend outside. This is Ruby's idea of playground wear - fancy.
