I like to come here to escape from my high pressure daily life. My phone was playing a song '' When I Dream '' by Crystal Gayle while I stood here. I don't know if anyone still remember the beautiful long hairs singer but her angel like voice usually echoed in my mind.

I ROBOT
This is one of the first books I ever read after leaving school and it took me down the long road of Science Fiction. Isaac Asimov, Philip K Dick, J G Ballard, Frederic Pohl, Jack Williamson, Robert A Heinlein and so many others.
So this is a little tribute to those imaginative folk who put pen to paper, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The little clock character was a birthday gift of many moons ago, he seemed appropriate to go on the shelf too. A bit cranky now, he doesn’t stand up by himself but leans in a very casual way and is a good timekeeper.
The next bit is a bit weird, I don’t own a copy of Asimov’s “I Robot” because it’s not in Penguin Books and I only collect Penguin Science fiction but I might make an exception and buy it along with the ‘Foundation' series at some time.
Hope some of you have enjoyed Sci/Fi too and have appreciated those writers and their imaginations. Here are a couple of other titles that I think have gone down in history as classic fiction.

I was so thrilled that I was home when the mom and fawn strolled through my backyard one evening last week.
I just returned from Homer, Alaska and I'm going through my photos. Only one really nice day and the rest were clouds with light rain.
Of course, there's plenty of Bald Eagles in Homer. We were told of one nest that was near the harbor and so we visited to find a single immature eagle in the nest with both parents nearby. I took a number of shots of this one in the rain. I believe this is the female and in this photo she gave me quite the look. If I were eagle food I would have been in lots of trouble! As it was, I was surprised to see that both parents apparently only visited the nest to deliver some food. Other than that they both seemed to want to be nearby but not in the nest.

This is my first flower photo, never attemped any before, i used my 105mm Macro lens on this very small flower.
but I do not like very cold days ( like -20C) . Thankfully we do not have this temperature here in Vancouver. Right now the night are very cold but I do not sleep outside. I like to dress warm and go for a walk. i hope you can do it too. Stay well. Only 3 days before we celebrate Christmas ( on the 24th this is when I have a special dinner). Those photos are from November when I spent time in Whistler.
J'aime bien la neige mais je n'aime pas les jours très froids (comme -20C). Heureusement, nous n'avons pas cette température ici à Vancouver. En ce moment les nuits sont très froides mais je ne dors pas dehors. J'aime m'habiller chaudement et sortir marcher. J'espère que vous pouvez le faire aussi. Seulement 3 jours avant de fêter Noël (le 24, j'ai un souper spécial). Ces photos datent de novembre lorsque j'étais à Whistler.

I visited here in October and the bridge was shut then, apparently its gone altogether now. I hope they replace it with a bridge that is beautiful as well as functional.
