I worked and 5 eyes stared at me. Tofu was bored and hoped that if he looked at me long enough I would stop working and play with him instead. Teddy Bear probably wanted me to rearrange his bow. And the lazy cat on the pillow in the background never manages to open more than one eye.

A very serious looking Laughing Kookaburra, sitting on the neighbours balcony.

Not many people are fond of such pics . I know.

But I prefer unspectacular and banal things, that everyone overlooks.

They are often very picturesque.

I was honoured to be remembered by my dear son yesterday that brought ne red roses for my birthday which is today. So proud over my young teenager !!!

We are celebrating Midsummer this weekend and after that my vacation starts so might be on and off for some weeks.

You know I am not a fan of over-saturation so I will tell you that this bright blue is right out of the camera. I guess you could say he is in his breeding colors.

I was at a bird wildlife preserve when I saw this sunset developing with its reflection in the water. So glad I had my wide angle lens with me! I’ve only shot two sunsets since October mainly due to lack of them, incredible rainy weather, and unfortunate timing. Needless to say, I was very much enjoying watching nature paint on its canvas!

Hello everyone I'm back, kinda. I've missed you all. Life update, during the past year, I started my career irl and I am proud to share this news with you guys, I got promoted last month. Bank of Commerce Palace , a monumental building that houses the Craiova City Hall, is one of the most famous buildings in the city , is a stately building, built on a four-level quadruple plan, in an eclectic style with obvious neo-Romanian elements.

No, I did not need the 50 megapixel of this camera to make this picture, 20 would have been fine, but from time to time I go over the settings and Bruce or Calypso are always there to help me. You do have the risk of having to clean the front of the lens when your that close.

I have no idea what they make at this place, but my thought was some up-sized moonshine distillery, or a meth lab. I think this was someplace between Raton and Las Vegas, New Mexico. For sure I-25 and northern New Mexico. I've kept a journal since 2009 with date, odometer, and nearest town. So for a picture like this that was taken in 2012, by the date & time of day it was taken, I can usually figure out roughly where I took the picture.

Reasons to go to this round of N21?? Well I have 2 reasons 1) This outfit from Miss Chelsea and 2) I know you really can’t see them but trust me they are there and worth it the new release from Heaux. I got the crystal eyes Fatpack because I have a hard time making decisions.

I so enjoy watching and capturing shots of sunsets and cool clouds. Feel blessed to live in spots where they are both so very lovely. Here are a few other photos taken from this same spot: flic.kr/p/2maWpJt and flic.kr/p/2rFb17s .

Like the previous one, I promise this is a single exposure with no photoshop involved.

The great thing is that this is a reflection of an advertisement of a wedding ring shop in Shanghai. It's a lovely dark twist to the hyper-romanticised image they were projecting in the shop when you look at the rising modern divorce rate :).

I was looking at my photostream and realized that it was a bit lacking in the color department. It seems that most of my old crumbled houses are white with green vines and my boat pictures are either white boats on blue water or white boats on green grass or gold marsh grass. So I am putting this photo up to balance out the blandness and make my photostream Pop! The color of the shed and the background of the magenta (not pink, not purple ... magenta) flowers is really very colorful. Yes, I am always looking at the big picture. Tiny details like focus drive me mad!

Now before you ask, I was NOT trespassing. I was on public property in the street. I would have run, however, if someone had come out of the house and confronted me. I contemplated lying and saying I was from House Beautiful Magazine, but I was afraid I’d get laughed off the property.

So, here for your viewing pleasure is “The Magenta Shed!”

I wonder if anybody grabbed that water bottle before closing up this section of the building.
