This is one from our White & Wild Japan tour.
Little over a week I will be leading our annual photo tour to Japan again, where we photograph the famous snow monkeys, whooper swans, the endangered red crowned cranes, and Steller's sea eagles. We've been going there for many years, and it's one of our most popular (and most copied) tours. It also happens to be one of our own favourite trips, so we can't wait to see these little guys again!
The snow monkeys are a real joy to watch, not only because they're constantly active in and around the natural hot springs and that there's a lot of interaction between monkeys to observe and photograph, but also because they resemble humans so much and you can really tell how they're feeling and what they're thinking. Well, almost. The young monkeys are particularly enjoyable to watch because they're very lively and curious.
If you talk to any wildlife photographer, they will tell you to shoot at the eye level of your subject - never shoot down. They're usually right, but rules are meant to be broken, and that's what I did here.
I deliberately chose a very high viewpoint to look straight down at this young snow monkey in an attempt to make it look even smaller. An advantage of this approach was that when the monkey looked up at me, it was looking in the direction of the sky, and that's where all the light comes from - natural fill flash for those big eyes.

Señales en el cielo: "Superlunas de sangre" han aparecido, ¡el fin de todas las cosas está cerca!
Los últimos días han llegado. Dice la profecía del Apocalipsis: “Vi cuando el Cordero abrió el sexto sello, y hubo un gran terremoto, y el sol se puso negro como cilicio hecho de cerda, y toda la luna se volvió como sangre” (Apocalipsis 6:12). Además, el Libro de Joel 2: 29-31 dice: “Y en esos días también derramaré Mi espíritu sobre los sirvientes y las mucamas. Y mostraré maravillas en los cielos y en la tierra, sangre y fuego, y columnas de humo. El sol será convertido en oscuridad y la luna en sangre, antes de que llegue el gran y terrible día de Jehová”.* “El gran y terrible día” mencionado en la profecía en el Libro de Joel se refiere a los grandes desastres. Todos vimos las cuatro lunas de sangre y las superlunas de 2019. En los últimos años se ha producido una escalada de desastres, con la frecuente aparición de terremotos, hambrunas e inundaciones. El brote de coronavirus que surgió en Wuhan (China) en 2019 se ha extendido por el mundo y ocasionado un creciente número de víctimas. Todo esto nos horroriza. La situación mundial es turbulenta y cambia constantemente. Con frecuencia estallan guerras, se suceden los incidentes violentos y siguen aumentando los atentados terroristas; la atmósfera del mundo se calienta cada vez más, y los climas extremos y todo tipo de maravillas astronómicas ocurren constantemente. Entonces, ¿cómo debemos ver los cristianos estos desastres? ¿Qué es lo que Dios quiere inspirar en nosotros por medio de estos desastres? ¿Qué obra realizará Dios antes de que lleguen los grandes desastres? Dice en el Libro de Joel 2:29: “Y aun sobre los siervos y las siervas derramaré mi Espíritu en esos días”. Según esta profecía, antes de que vengan los grandes desastres, el Espíritu de Dios expresará Sus palabras para regar a Sus siervos y siervas. Está profetizado en muchas partes de los capítulos 2 y 3 del Apocalipsis: “El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias”. Y en Apocalipsis 7:14: “Estos son los que vienen de la gran tribulación, y han lavado sus vestiduras y las han emblanquecido en la sangre del Cordero”. Y en Apocalipsis 14:4: “Estos son los que siguen al Cordero adondequiera que va. Estos han sido rescatados de entre los hombres como primicias para Dios y para el Cordero”. Y en Apocalipsis 2:7 se afirma: “Al vencedor le daré a comer del árbol de la vida, que está en el paraíso de Dios”. A partir de estas profecías, podemos ver que Dios realizará una nueva etapa de Su obra en los últimos días, en la que expresará Sus palabras y formará un grupo de vencedores antes de los desastres. Estas personas serán las primicias, serán las que sirven a Dios y a las que al final Él llevará a su reino.

Profecias biblicas de los ultimos tiempos
Las señales de los últimos días han aparecido, es imperativo acoger al Señor
1. Hace 2.000 años, los discípulos le preguntaron al Señor Jesús: “[…] y cuál será la señal de tu venida y de la consumación de este siglo?” (Mateo 24:3). Les respondió: “Y habréis de oír de guerras y rumores de guerras. ¡Cuidado! No os alarméis, porque es necesario que todo esto suceda; pero todavía no es el fin. 7 Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino, y en diferentes lugares habrá hambre y terremotos. Pero todo esto es solo el comienzo de dolores” (Mateo 24:6-8).
2. El Señor Jesús dijo: “Porque habrá entonces una gran tribulación, tal como no ha acontecido desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, ni acontecerá jamás” (Mateo 24:21).
3. El Apocalipsis profetiza: “Vi cuando el Cordero abrió el sexto sello, y hubo un gran terremoto, y el sol se puso negro como cilicio hecho de cerda, y toda la luna se volvió como sangre” (Apocalipsis 6:12).
Dios Todopoderoso dice: “Los últimos días han llegado, y en los países alrededor del mundo reina la confusión. Hay desorden político, por todos lados están apareciendo hambrunas, pestilencias, inundaciones y sequías. Hay una catástrofe en el mundo del hombre; los cielos han hecho bajar el desastre. Estas son las señales de los últimos días”.
“Cuando se habla de los últimos días, esto se refiere a una era independiente; una en la que Jesús dijo que sin duda deberéis afrontar desastres y terremotos, hambrunas y plagas, lo que señalará que es una nueva era, y no la antigua Era de la Gracia”.
“¡Abre tus ojos y mira, y podrás ver Mi gran poder en todas partes! Puedes estar seguro de Mí en todas partes. El cosmos y el firmamento están difundiendo Mi gran poder. Las palabras que Yo he hablado se han hecho realidad en el calentamiento del clima, en el cambio climático, en las anomalías dentro de las personas, en el desorden de la dinámica social y en el engaño dentro del corazón de las personas. El sol se blanquea y la luna enrojece; todo está desequilibrado. ¿En verdad seguís sin ver estas cosas?”.
Miremos el mundo actual combinando las profecías y las palabras de Dios Todopoderoso, sucede un nuevo conflicto entre Israel y Gaza; la situación de Colombia está caótica; los desastres naturales como el terremoto, la inundación y el incendio, etc. son frecuentes; un signo de la Gran Tribulación -la luna de sangre- ha reaparecido. Todas estas señales indican que las profecías de la venida del Señor se han cumplido. En este momento, ¿anhelas aún más recibir al Señor para obtener la oportunidad de ser guardado por Él en medio del desastre? Ο Θεός λέει:«Καθώς η θάλασσα δεν ήταν πλέον σιωπηλή, η ζωή άρχισε να γεμίζει και τους ουρανούς. Ένα-ένα τα πουλιά, μικρά και μεγάλα, πετούσαν στον ουρανό από το έδαφος. Αντίθετα από τα πλάσματα της θάλασσας, εκείνα είχαν φτερά και πούπουλα που σκέπαζαν τις λεπτές και χαριτωμένες φιγούρες τους. Χτυπούσαν τα φτερά τους με περηφάνια και επεδείκνυαν αγέρωχα το υπέροχο φτέρωμά τους και τις ειδικές λειτουργίες και ικανότητες που τους χάρισε ο Δημιουργός. Πετούσαν ψηλά με ευκολία και δεξιότητα, ανάμεσα στον ουρανό και στη γη και μέσα από αγρούς και δάση… Ήταν τα αγαπημένα πλάσματα του αέρα και τα αγαπημένα πλάσματα όλων. Σύντομα θα αποτελούσαν τον σύνδεσμο μεταξύ ουρανού και γης και θα μετέφεραν τα μηνύματα σε όλα τα πράγματα… Κελαηδούσαν, εφορμούσαν χαρωπά, σκόρπιζαν κέφι, γέλιο και παλμό σ’ αυτόν τον μέχρι τότε άδειο κόσμο… Χρησιμοποιούσαν το καθάριο τους μελωδικό κελάηδισμα και τα λόγια που είχαν στην καρδιά τους για να υμνούν τον Δημιουργό για τη ζωή που Εκείνος τους χάρισε. Χόρευαν χαρωπά για να δείξουν την τελειότητα και το θαύμα της δημιουργίας του Δημιουργού και θα αφιέρωναν ολόκληρη τη ζωή τους στο να γίνουν μάρτυρες της εξουσίας του Δημιουργού μέσα από την ιδιαίτερη ζωή που Εκείνος τους χάρισε…... »
