Home now after another busy shift out on the streets of Sheffield..
Most of the fleet is in, just a couple of nightshift crews still out..
Time for me and Himmy to head home..

We work for Yorkshire Ambulance Service in and around the city of Sheffield in South Yorkshire.

Tetsujin returned home from his big adventure posing for Tubes. Yeah, shipping a 200' tall robot is expensive, but that's just money. Shipping cost is nothing compared to the storage problem with this billboard sized Polaroid. I'm afraid they'll lean it against the house and crush us or something. The shadow blocks out the light for the whole neighborhood....
and now where do I park Tetsujin? Black Ox has been living in his spot for the past few months.
By the way, if anyone who comes here to look at my "art" is unfamiliar with Tubes' excellent Polaroids, they should immediately click over and spend a few hours gazing. And then go out and buy an SX-70 to get in on the pola action themselves!

Traveling is great, but exhausting. Upon returning home, Camellia vows never to leave again.

Webster's Dictionary defines home as one's place of residence. Well, this one goes out to the time when I called the Hotel Whitcomb, in San Francisco; EZ-8 Motel, in southern Alameda County; and the Crystal Springs Rest Area, in San Mateo County-- Home, And Home.
When I first got off Muni, I walked my very first steps [as an SFSU Radio & TV Major] at my university heading to...University Housing. Long story short, housing and I weren't on the same page, so I had no where to live. Not having / owning any form of transportation, and the [little] money I had [from FAFSA], I hopped back on Muni, went Downtown, and walked, and walked, and...walked, until I was done. I ended up on the otherside of the Union Square Mall, and then I heard gunshots; the time for me to get to steppin' was a necessity, so I ended up in a badass historic hotel; "...$159.99 a night?? I just head gunshots...cut me a deal, man, please.......Alright, I'll pay ya $139.99 a night, because I'm tired............Make it for 2 nights, because I need to get my act together and figure out some things..."
I couldn't [forever?] stay at the Whitcomb because of the price and "I am not rich". So, I had to downgrade to the Motel 6, where I scored and rested well, until I met eyes with the EZ-8 Motel; I felt like I hit the Lotto on that broke man's budget yet pulling the curtains to see if my ride is safe and good to go. Yeah, the Sleezy-8; sketchy and low-key things going down [truly] under the radar. Hmmmmmmm....
Lastly, the Crystal Springs Rest Area. This was my absolute last resort when both money dwindled and how stealth I had to be living out of my car on the streets of San Francisco. When I woke up to the brigh[est] light ever flashed to my eyes of a San Francisco Police Officer, interrogating me as to why I was sleeping out of my car in this area, I had to pulled together a fast statement since I knew the local and county laws that strictly prohibit any persons of sleeping out of their automobiles. That night, I called the Crystal Springs Rest Area Home, because it was out of the City far from SF's laws, no sketchy individuals to break / destroy / steal one's vehicle, and where I can see stars and feel and connect with nature.
Well, my last year attending SFSU was my best [financially] because I made enough money from a summer internship I had in Burbank...................................................................................

What a great welcome home sight greeting us after a week of vacation in Colorado as we headed home after disembarking from the last Delta flight of the evening (4538 CR900). This is the tip of the Homer Spit, a sliver of land sticking out into Kachemak Bay from Homer, Alaska. The spit is built from this gravel, which looks to me like the debris left behind in the terminal morain as a glacier retreated (in this case probably many thousands of years ago, if that is actually what it is).
