And I thank you
For bringing me here
For showing me home
For singing these tears
Finally I've found
That I belong
Feels like home
I should have known
From my first breath

A pink ladybird searching for aphids, its favorite prey, in a withered chrysanthemum in my garden !!!
எங்கெங்கே பார்த்தாலும் எவ்வுயிர்க்கும் அவ்வுயிராய்
அங்கங் கிருப்பதுநீ அன்றோ பராபரமே !!!

A World Cup is never quiet the same when your native team goes out, but so far Brazil 2014 has been FABULOUS!
HMM!
Sadly, I'm going to have to move soon due to the monthly tier increase for homestead open space sims. Before that happens though, I wanted to capture the place that has so many happy memories for me. It's been a great home and I'm hopeful to duplicate it's warmth and fun in my new place. I'll miss you, Kellin :)
Echoes and silence, patience and grace
All of these moments I'll never replace
No fear of my heart, absence of faith
And all I want is to be home...

I was sad when they tore down this old farmhouse because she provided some mighty fine photographic studies...but alas poor Yorick, I knew him well...
Durango & Silverton K-28 #473 heads for home, bringing the Silverton train the last few miles back to town.
...and still it lingers
cautious it may be,
as it becomes a saga
of it's own fate
neither told nor read
unspoken as it is unheard
silenced
still
peaceful
serene
and below the surface
still, we do not know
a showpiece, perhaps
undisturbed
unperturbed
tangible, just
which may be enough...
just maybe...

But I'm not at home. And this is not my home. I'm stuck in a hotel. Yeah, traveling for work again!
I miss home!!

Don't Give Up - Peter Gabriel et Kate Bush
in this proud land we grew up strong
we were wanted all along
I was taught to fight, taught to win
I never thought I could fail
no fight left or so it seems
I am a man whose dreams have all deserted
I've changed my face, I've changed my name
but no one wants you when you lose
don't give up
'cos you have friends
don't give up
you're not beaten yet
don't give up
I know you can make it good
though I saw it all around
never thought I could be affected
thought that we'd be the last to go
it is so strange the way things turn
drove the night toward my home
the place that I was born, on the lakeside
as daylight broke, I saw the earth
the trees had burned down to the ground
don't give up
you still have us
don't give up
we don't need much of anything
don't give up
'cause somewhere there's a place
where we belong
rest your head
you worry too much
it's going to be alright
when times get rough
you can fall back on us
don't give up
please don't give up
'got to walk out of here
I can't take anymore
going to stand on that bridge
keep my eyes down below
whatever may come
and whatever may go
that river's flowing
that river's flowing
moved on to another town
tried hard to settle down
for every job, so many men
so many men no-one needs
don't give up
'cause you have friends
don't give up
you're not the only one
don't give up
no reason to be ashamed
don't give up
you still have us
don't give up now
we're proud of who you are
don't give up
you know it's never been easy
don't give up
'cause I believe there's the a place
there's a place where we belong
