I see someone who will fight for me and protect me and love me in spite of any of my short-comings and flaws. I see home. Wherever he is, that's my home...

I haven't been able to find any history on this old home in Madison County, Alabama. It certainly has been there a long while.

This Red Bellied Woodpecker is very much at home whereby he could easily skip out for a quick meal just outside his home sweet home !

Home grown cauliflower cut off today. It’s not huge and because of that it has taken less time to mature. I will definitely sow more seeds.

Arrived home after a week in hospital to find my garden awash in colour, including this lovely crab apple tree.

It seems that my recovery from fluctuating blood counts is going to be very slow and I will catch up with contacts when I can.

A large flock of birds is using this deserted barn as a landing strip as they excitedly shriek about the coming changes in Minnesota on a fall morning. Growing up on the farm I never realized until I was older how I rarely felt alone. There was always some animals or birds around making noise and giving our place a sense of life. The beeping of phones, tablets and computers today are not nearly as satisfying.
