This sculpture is in front of the Pasta Factory Restaurant in St. George, Utah. It is called "Mom, Can I Keep Him" by Susan Geissler (2007).
I read somewhere that the best way to train a terrier is to let them think it was their idea.
I tend to agree. Too smart for their own good. I guess you have to be when the rats are laughing at you.
Jing was getting ready to scratch him under his jaw on both sides, and he just waited as though he expected all who approached to pay homage and give him his due respect by petting him. This was the studio cat at Island 6 gallery nearby M50 in Shanghai.
Never a big fan of these posed shots, but part of the cocktail evening events put on by the hotel management….. the food and drinks were fantastic, and it was good to meet the hotels higher echelons, while drinking just about every cocktail that was ever invented….. Not sure about that water spout over my head!

"I exist in the relations. Others create me and I am a reflection of others. I wanna be part of you - your body, your moment, your story, and your life. Once I met him. This encounter is still a memorable moment of something that moves me forward, let me dance and spin around. His body stucked to mine and we were breathing together. I have been embraced from inside, I became part of him. We were together, once and for ever."

"He's not perfect, you aren't either and the two of you will never be perfect, but if he can make you laugh least once, causes you to think twice and if he admits to being human and making mistakes. Hold on to him and give him the most you can. He isn't going to quote poetry, he's not thinking about you every moment but he will give you a part of him that he knows you could break. Don't hurt him, don't change him and don't expect more than he can give, don't analize, smile when he make you happy. Yell when he make you mad, and miss him when he's not there. Love hard when there is love to be had. Because perfect guys don't exist, but there's always one guy that is perfect to you. "

They caught him! The serial rapist in Umeå. This is my response printed in the local paper.
English translation: (A BIG thank you to Therese who translated it into Swedish form me)
When the news came out that Hagamanen was caught my phone started ringing off the hook. Friends from both in and out of Umeå rang to tell me – and I was excited! Later, when I was sitting with my daughter on the couch listening to the press conference a thought occurred to me. Hagamannen has been caught, but he has forever changed the way that women move in Umeå. He has, in his wake of violence, left a legacy of fear. Coming from the USA I was taught at a young age to fear the dark and to fear being a lone woman in the dark. We were taught to believe that there were hagamen behind every bush, and the statistics supported this fear. In the USA, one out of every four women are sexually assaulted. We are taught ways to avoid being alone, as well as various ways of defending ourselves. Defensive techniques are passed down from mother to daughter the way that recipes and family stories are. Since making Umeå my home 5 years ago, I have been able to get past those fears and those lessons and experience the ability to move freely – despite my gender. It felt wonderful to be able to walk across town in the evening and not be afraid. But now my fear is different. I fear that the small concessions we have made – walking in groups, walking with a male, buying alarms and defensive sprays – will remain in our subconscious. We will begin to take these new behaviors and pass them on to the next generation. We will signal, by virtue of our fear, that we are the weaker sex and that we have taken the proper precautions to defend ourselves if we need to. I want my own daughter, and my friends, and my workmates to walk again in peace, not fearfully within a guarded box. Hagaman has been caught, and this is wonderful, but I fear the terror he stirred up in the women of Umeå will be remembered long after he is gone.

Egyptian family from Minya protest in front of the Kuwaiti embassy in Cairo for releasing its son "Ishak Koltah" who was forced to stay there by his "Kafeel". The worker's family claimed that "Kafeel" stopped giving salary to Ishak for seven monthes. According to Ishak's family, he was tortured by "kafeel" called "Ibrahem Motreq Al-Enaizy".
During the protest the Kuwaiti ambassador came out and met the worker's father to settle the case and find out how to get Ishak back to Egypt.
#2015PortraitProject Day 19
Meet Ian! I’ve known him for a little over a year now. The first time I got to know him was when he was modelling for the 2013 Midtown Campaign and while I was assisting @kiriakoiatridisphotography. He did a stellar job and the entire team definitely knocked that campaign right out of the park. @ian.chang is also a phenomenal photographer, if you have not checked out his work yet, go look him up at www.ianchangphoto.com! His latest projects have most certainly blown me away and I am thrilled to see his work constantly improve too.
We decided to set this portrait up today as he’s moving to Toronto for a year on his dentistry placement. I didn’t want to miss the chance to grab a quick and simple portrait of him before he’s gone for a year. I wish I got to hang out with this dude more too over the past year and gotten to do photography collaborations too in the process. On the plus side, he’s one more connection and reason to visit Toronto in the months to come. Good luck out there Ian, I wish you all the best in your dentistry placement as well as photography. Certainly looking forward to catching up with you when I get the chance to visit #YYZ again.
For anyone who’s interested to have their portrait taken, send me a DM here on Instagram! I’d like to get to know you and also take your portrait!

He was standing on a log that crosses a stream that flows from my lake. He actually stood still for me to take some photos. I think he may of recognized me, thinking to himself, "Hmmm, there's that creature with the box thing and that shrieking offspring."
Goddamn, I need to restring him so that I can take photos of him standing -____-
He finally got his new wig and I gave him a stupid necklace (why he's naked? Tomorrow is Restringing-Day and I decided to take off his clothes and put him in his ridiculous briefs to tease my Mom xD)
He'll go to the next Mee on Saturday with us and believe me, I'm not really looking forward to carry him around all day :B
But at least he's a handsome guy <3
