FAMILIAR black, grey and white bird. The Pied Wagtail has a bounding flight and distinctive habit of pumping its tail up and down. They love locations such as playing fields and supermarket car parks, where this one was captured, but I was willing it to go into a little grass area to get a better image.

On a frosty and foggy morning, close after sunrise, I saw this lonesome traveler passing me with a firm tread. Can You see him ? What may brought him out of the warmth of his house on such a inclement morning ? How long is he on its way already ? Were is he heading to ? Many questions are arising in my mind and I can answer not a single one. To do that, I had to walk to him, talk to him and listen carefully. Thats how life works. Any answer I give to myself is like gambling and has nothing to do with truth. So I decide not to know. I let him go its way and in my mind I wish him all the best. Maybe You will remember this sometimes, when You want to judge others attitude ore behaviour not knowing anything. It would be better for both sites.
An einem frostigen und nebligen Morgen, kurz nach Sonnenaufgang, sah ich diesen einsamen Wanderer mit festem Schritt an mir vorbei ziehen. Könnt Ihr ihn sehen ? Was hat ihn wohl bewogen an einem so unfreundlichen Tag die Wärme das Hauses zu verlassen ? Wie lange ist er wohl schon unterwegs ? Wo will er hin ? Viele Fragen entstehen spontan in meinem Kopf von denen ich keine einzige beantworten kann. Denn dafür müsste ich auf ihn zugehen mit Ihm sprechen und aufmerksam zuhören. So ist das im Leben. Jede Antwort, die ich mir selbst gebe ist wie Glücksspiel und hat mit der Wahrheit nichts zu tun. Also entscheide ich nichts zu wissen, lasse ich Ihn ziehen und wünsch Ihm in Gedanken alles Gute. Vielleicht erinnert Ihr Euch daran, wenn Ihr versucht seid über die Einstellung oder das Verhalten anderer zu urteilen ohne irgend etwas zu wissen. Es wäre besser, für beide Seiten.
My Bob has had a rough week... last Thursday we had to rush him to the emergency vet because he was staining to make.... he was yowling all over the house, staining while he was walking.... the vet said his bladder was full and he had a blockage.... after flushing him out in both areas, we took him home... a few days and he still acted strange... constantly going in and out of the box and nothing... but then he did make and what a relief...
On Monday I took him to our vet and she did a lot of tests, even a urine culture.... thank goodness his levels are not bad and he's acting like his old self.... he is 17 years old!
She put him on an antibiotic for a week and I'm hoping that will also help him feel better.
It's so scary and heartbreaking when you know they don't feel well and they can't tell you what is wrong...
Thank God he is doing better... so we want to wish everyone a Happy Caturday and enjoy the rest of the weekend!!

Charley liked to visit and get some food and a head scratch, he did not like the other cats, he decided he wanted to live with my nice neighbor so she bought him a bed and some good chow, he asks to go outside and to come back in and be a lap cat, everyone is happy now, found in North Carolina.

Fynn is bored with Autumn. The colourful leaves are fun for a while but they are just leaves after all and not sooo super exciting. Our cold and rainy weather doesn't make it any better as Fynn has to stay indoors most of the time. He doesn't mind going out into the rain but I don't allow him to as he tends to get soaking wet and that's not good at all for his health. Boo for Autumn !
Kris Kringle hand-picked this colorful guy to help cheer us up during the Christmas season. Kris even gave him one of his signature Santa hats to wear!
I met him in Rotterdam an we had a really nice conversation. He looked extraordinary and I ask for permission to shoot a portrait.
We should actually find something in others that we find good. Cause every person has something interesting, admirable, surprising to offer. Something worth getting to know. We just have to be ready to take a close look. 🎈

A walk in the park to let Kayjay see the squirls playing as he hasn't seen them before, he looked a them and they looked back at him! He got on well with the ducks!
Yesterday I went for a long walk in the forest. The forest lake was nearly completly frozen. At the same time I was able to say goodbye to January. It was cold but sunny and I could enjoy the essence of winter. To be on the safe side I had my Helios lens with me, because I think that the lens underlines the barren beauty of this time of year very appropriately. I hope that February will present even more such beauties after I greeted him very early this morning :-)

Last night I saw 20-30 run away and jump over a fence together, in one fluent movement, a bit like I remember the horses in the Grand national doing, and no fallers. I was too slow to anticipate what they were going to do so no picture to show you
