Never a big fan of these posed shots, but part of the cocktail evening events put on by the hotel management….. the food and drinks were fantastic, and it was good to meet the hotels higher echelons, while drinking just about every cocktail that was ever invented….. Not sure about that water spout over my head!

I met him on the street. He's a security guard, was sitting on a bench, and reached out to pet my dog. We began to talk. He told me that he has been seeing ghosts and aliens ever since he was a young child. He is quite well versed on these topics, and even pulled a magazine out of his briefcase called "Weirdology." Most of the time he was smiling, but for a moment he was not.
These are some photos that I'll be using for my journal. I've decided to start a series talking about some of the books I read when I was a kid, out of nostalgia and just plain fun. I'm starting with this one, called The Usborne Detective's Handbook.
