He’s got a bad tumor in his jaw. It’s inoperable. We brought him home from the vet last night to spend some time with him before we put him down. We need a proper goodbye with him.

He was just a little fluff ball that Christina found in the middle of the road in 2004. She brought him to our house and he never left the family. We named him Gizmo because he looked like a Mogwai to me. My mother liked the name when I suggested it.

He was my parents’ baby. They fought over who would cuddle him. When my dad had to go back into the road, she kept him, even though we called Gizmo my father’s cat.

When my mother died in 2005, she wasn’t alone. Gizmo was with her.

I told my dad the other day I felt bad calling him The Asshole at times. My dad said don’t be. He had his asshole moments. Gizmo was not afraid to bite if he didn’t like something.

Last night, I bought him some pulled pork, on of his favorites, and turned it into a mush. For the last week we have him, he’ll be spoiled.

It’s going to be bad when we put him down. This cat is my dad’s most treasured friend. This cat got my dad through my mother’s death and beyond.

My only love. Will always be dreaming of him

goodness I just read this for the first time in a long time..and it made me cry.. (i'm such a depressing person)

We call him Biz. Or Bisou ("Bizoo" kiss in french).

Very cute registered rescue TB (may be registered paint as well). He is 7 yo, wasn't broke when he arrived, stayed in an uncleaned stall for a couple of months with no care. He was just fed a bale of hay every other day.

He's been working with me and a friend for 2 months now. He is trotting under saddle on the lunge line and should be green broke by the end of this month.

He will be a GREAT hunter. He is very fancy, has very nice gaits, he's 17HH at least. Very good ground manners: good with leading, cross ties, bathing, clipping, with the farrier, etc. It's a sensitive horse who needs a loving owner.

Owner says he needs to go, she can't afford to have him anymore. So he's on the market as a prospect hunter for little money.

Well we did and here are the images from the day.. My little sons Ben and Lukas thoroughly enjoyed the nostalgic experience.

Cream Tea with Scones went down particularly well, especially when the boys realised we were travelling in the famous "old gentlemens saloon" from the film, The Railway children.

The next vintage day this year is the 3rd of August.

I’ve more of less uploaded everything I have done of him so far even the pictures that did not turn out right. Hopefully I can get some time to take him out to a nice place for more photos.

He is the authentic Sky one “Wild Things” team mole suit.

This is big furry guy is one of two mole suits built for the UK Sky one Tv game show “Wild Things” restored and repaired. It appears in parts of all seasons of the show. He is the only mole suit known to still exist as most of the other suits where rumored to be destroyed after the final season.

There where two mole suits made with differing designs the partner to this one had a mostly grey body. As you can expect with a game show that involves mud and gunk this suit still shows evidence from been used on the show like stains which did not wash out.

Unlike most mascot suits this one is deliberately built to be clumsy and difficult to wear. Its bulky and extremely warm to due to the thickness of the fur and foam lining. Vision is designed to be extremely limited to two small holes near the nose which during filming were blocked with plugs thus the contestant was totally blind and would have to stumble around the wild wood completely blind.

Entry is in the back of the suit by way of a Velcro closure which is also secured against accidental opening by three plastic snap clips making it virtually impossible for the wearer to remove the suit themselves. Also, the head is secured with a double chin strap and contains a skate board helmet for safety. It is more or less complete apart from the orignal nose plugs and expander panel that fits in the back used to adjust the size of the suit for larger contestants.

I’ve been mulling over the idea to one day take him back to Rushmere Country Park where the show was filmed to visit the remains of the wild things gate just for a laugh. But that’s a project for another time.

All the suits were built for the show by costume builders “Frenzy Creative” of Manchester.

He never had a name on the show just Mole So I've called him BOB

Who KNEW there was a venue called The Corn Palace? Not ME, that's for sure. And Mitchell, SD? Where the HECK is THAT? However, the venue was kinda cool (in that "corny" kinda way. hehe), the audience LOVED David and The Anthemic and the boys totally rocked the stage. Unfortunately, the one big draw back to the venue is the level seating on the main floor. I was in the 10th row and my view consisted of the back of the head of the very tall young man 4 rows ahead of me (his head was SMACK DAB in front of David and blocked him a LOT) and THEN, to make matters worse, the young man held his camer over his head to take pictures, which made the 2 young women behind HIM hold their camera even HIGHER. So, basically, my view for the night was someone's head and 3 different cameras, with intermittent David sightings. This is in explanation for the complete LAMENESS of the pictures I managed to grab. I'm completely stubborn and kept on trying even AFTER I realized the crap view I was gonna have.

I DID manage to grab a few pics at the buses afterwards that are semi-decent, and a couple with Andy and Neal that are really pretty good (I LOVE those guys!)

Seb :D take a breath!

We all got in the bathroom with him and shut the door. He ran around hopping on things and climbing on us.
