Rotterdam last Sunday: exceptionally blue sky and no clouds to be seen! I went for a little walk with my camera around the south part of Rotterdam (together with plenty of other photographers, so I noticed).
This is the newest skyscraper, named 'New Orleans'. It is the highest residential building in The Netherlands, for the time being, with a height of 160 meters.
Australia's highest public toilet was built in 2007 at Rawson's Pass at an altitude of 2100 metres as over 100,000 people are now visiting the mountain each summer with human waste management becoming a serious issue.
Ranger vehicles and bicycles travel up to Rawson's Pass from Charlotte's Pass (track on the left), while most people take the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift from Thredbo to Top Station and use the raised mesh walkway to the summit (path on the right).
A single track proceeds up to the Summit from Rawson's Pass. Note: Bicycles are prohibited from using the summit track - they need to be locked up and left at the pass.
Another point of interest here was the highest point in Littleton - although it does not make for a particularly interesting photo.

This is the world's highest ridge - from the left side: Lhotse (7864), Sagarmatha (8848), Lhotse (8501), Lhotse Shar (8386).
Taken from Tengboche.

The evangelical Lutheran church of St. Andrew is one of the major main churches of Hildesheim. With a height of 114.5 meters, the tower of the church is the highest church tower in Lower Saxony. It is accessible via 364 steps and offers a wide panorama of the city and the surrounding area.
Building history
The earliest church building with the patrocinium of the Apostle Andreas was a simple pre-Romanesque chapel, the existence of which was already assumed for the year of death of Bishop Bernward in 1022. Bishop Godehard was laid in state here after his death in 1038 for the manifestation of grief of the people.
In Roman times, the center of the market and artisan settlement moved from the humid lowlands between Domburg and the church Michaeliskirche ("Old Market") here and the chapel was replaced by a Romanesque church with a powerful western work.
The construction of the Gothic church was begun at the end of the 14th century with the inclusion of the Romanesque Westwerk and maintaining the basilical cross section, the choir 1389, the northern side nave 1404, the tower 1503. In 1504 the nave and the side naves were brought up to the tower. However, the tower did not reach its final height until 1883, before this date it hardly reached over the rest of the building. The interior with the ambulatory and apse chapel in the east is reminiscent of French cathedrals.
Like the market churches in many other German Episcopal cities, represented St. Andreas in the High Middle Ages the bourgeois self-consciousness against the domination of the sovereign power of the bishop (Hochstift: In the Holy Roman Empire the German term Hochstift (plural: Hochstifte or, in some regions, Hochstifter) was often used to denote the territory of secular authority held by bishops ruling a prince-bishopric as their temporalities), which was represented in the cathedral. In the Reformation period this old power-contrast was connected with the religious question. Consistently, was Saint Andrew in 1542 the first church of Hildesheim in which Lutheran was preached and from where Johannes Bugenhagen introduced the new Protestant church system. Since 1995 a fountain monument by Ulrich Henn on the southern forecourt of the church reminds us of this.
In the Second World War, the Andreaskirche was damaged on several windows during an air attack in the context of Operation Clarion on 22 February 1945. In the most severe air attack on Hildesheim on March 22, 1945, it burned completely down, only the heavily battered enclosing walls and the tower remained. Apart from the Cathedral, no other church in Hildesheim was as severely damaged as St. Andrew. In the 1950s it was reconstructed almost faithfully.

Parasnath Hill, the highest mountain in the state of Jharkhand. It is the most important Jain Tirtha [pilgrimage site] for Jains. Believed to be the place where twenty of the twenty-four Jain tirthankaras along with many other monks attained Moksha, according to Nirvana Kanda and other texts.
The northern approach is a 13 km route from Madhuban village on the Dumri-Giridih road. Madhuban is about 10 km from Parasnath rail station.
The pilgrimage is made on foot or by a doli carried by a doliwallah along a paved track. Along the track are shrines to each of the twenty four tirthankaras and vendors of tea, coffee, water, fruits and snacks. . . .
