Me enjoying Willow Glen's epic holiday lights and displays. Just simply beautiful here, no doubt! It may be a couple days after Christmas but everyone was still enjoying the holidays, us included. This was around the Willow Glen area in San Jose, CA. This was our very 1st time checking this place out. We went along Glen Eyrie Ave, Glen Echo Ave & Glen Brook Ave. The Christmas décor and displays were quite beautiful. The place also had their own Christmas music station (92.9 FM). It was certainly feeling like a Christmas wonderland here. I was with my parents and Baby Addy at the time (although I was the only one who actually walked around the neighborhood while my parents and Baby Addy stayed in/near the car). We just wanted to savor what’s left of the holiday season. And with everything that's going on, it's nice to still be able to get out of the house and enjoy the holidays from the comfort and safety of our car. We will definitely be visiting this place again next Christmas. Anyway, wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! Stay safe out there!

This Liz's new cookie tin. She likes it because it spins.

even though it looks like summer already! hot hot weather lately here...

The sun "arrived" again today as it poked its head out from behind our hill. Its been hidden somewhere behind there since the beginning of November and today I saw it shine for just a few minutes. This is the evidence!!!!

Here's a bonus sign I found on Olive while I was going somewhere else.

Beautiful spring day. City brunch. Friends. Disney in Concert, live. Beach sunsets, and surprise serendipitous shots. Hotpot dinner. Heart-to-heart talks.

I'm really more into human photography than dolls, at the moment.

Jesus lives in my neighbourhood.

He takes down notes when I've been good.

He circles around my concrete block,

and stumbles about, lost in thought.

Some say he's just a crack head.

"He's a bum and he's homeless. His name is Fred."

Yes, but if you add up all you're worth -

Who cares? Be kind while you're here on earth.

For kindness and love will keep you whole,

and generosity will save your soul.

There are some things I'd like to fear.

And it keeps me humble to think Jesus lives here.

I’m really not sure what type of bird this is. I saw it at the Toronto Zoo. I don’t know if it was born with only one leg or whether it was rescued.

went to the local park that has a small lake in it, all with the intent to try to capture birds with the V1 and the 70-300mm lens. The lake had a fence around it, and the egrets that nest in the trees were not to be seen. Waterfowl of various waddling varieties were out, as were a flock of pigeons, but I didn’t get too much I liked. People, though, were fun!
