And quite fluently, by the looks of it. This puppy wanted to play with Koko SO badly, play bowing and running around him. Koko was having none of it and eventually curled his lip Elvis-style and let out a big growl for a teeny dog.
Here is a pirate themed painting made to look like a rum label and features so many things that I enjoy…ships, pirates, legends, bones, history…and rum. I choose to paint subject matter that I can delve deep in research and have a lot of fun while doing it. Be sure to check out my other artwork in my art and painting folder.
Marking the boundary of the City of London this is one of a pair of dragons on the southern end of London Bridge.

The parrot fish (big blue ones) and damselfish (striped ones). This shot was taken while snorkeling at Gilotongan Marine Sanctuary, Cordova, Cebu, Philippines.
Here are the shelves filled with books donated from the result of two book drives in the States last year. Here it is almost 8 months later and we are finally putting them on the shelves for the kids.
Here's one for Carl. I think he has photographed about every covered bridge in PA. I was in the edge of DE when I decided to cut across country looking for something to photograph. I didn't drive very far before I came upon this covered bridge. I looked it up and discovered that it is in Chadds Ford, DE. It was a fun discovery.
Here she is—Brushtail Mousie, in all her cunning glory, relishing the political battle! You can see the fire in her eyes as she plots her next move.
Here's Echo, my adorable Miss Sally Rice. She's visited the Hair Spa recently & decided to go for a new look for a new year, she's dyed her originally mint green hair to a new beautiful muted shade of lavender!
And here I dreamt I was a soldier
And I marched the streets of Birkenau
And I recall in spring
The perfume that the air would bring
To the indolent town
Where the barkers call the moon down
The carnival was ringing loudly now
And just to lay with you
There's nothing that I wouldn't do
Save lay my rifle down
And try one, and try two
Guess it always comes down to
All right, it's okay, guess it's better to turn this way
And I am nothing of a builder
But here I dreamt I was an architect
And I built this balustrade
To keep you home, to keep you safe
From the outside world
But the angles and the corners
Even though my work is unparalleled
They never seemed to meet
This structure fell about our feet
And we were free to go
And try one, and try two
Guess it always comes down to
All right, okay, guess it's better to turn this way
And here in Spain I am a Spaniard
I will be buried with my marionettes
Countess and courtesan
Have fallen beneath my tender hand
When their husbands were not around
But you, my soiled teenage girlfriend
Or are you furrowed like a lioness
And we are vagabonds
We travel without seatbelts on
We live this close to death
And try one, and try two
Guess it always comes down to
All right, it's okay, guess it's better to turn this
But I won, so you lose
Guess it always comes down to
All right, it's okay, guess it's better to turn this way
-Here I Dreamt I Was An Architect, The Decemberists
Day 60 of 365.
Been missing a few days. I'm not going to crucify myself. I didn't sleep up for over two months.
This is a lovely rare palm in my friend Danny's yard.
If you climb up in his tallest tree you can see 100+ species of awesome palms
from all over the world. Pretty incredible sight.
Hopefully it doesn't get to cold this winter.

Here is the Standard Palette again and when using the Pthalo Green it shows it does a better job mixing those adjacent mixes.
I also have decided I do not like opaque colors. The cadmium colors are doomed from my palette I think. I am going to get some substitutes I think. Any suggestions?
I took this photo of the tulip one day and when I went out the next the flower had disappeared. Something had chopped the head from the stem and it was lying forlornly on the ground. How sad for such a beautiful flower.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to view my photos and comments or Faves.
We missed the Aspens turning yellow last year, we moved here right after....so this year.....I was not going to miss it!!!!!!!!!
NIRC SW1500 number 5 was rolling west past B17 for a signal back into Bensenville to pick up a Metra F40PH in the yard for re-delivering after tweaking at EMD's LaGrange facility.
