This snowy owl was just enjoying her Sunday dinner of a dead rat while I photographed her - perhaps that was why she looked so upset!

Full size is my suggestion...

This spectacular view is from one of the pull-offs along Trail Ridge Road. After a month on my photostream, nobody has pointed out the bird sitting on a ledge. Who will find it?

the photography is a little lazy (very lazy) but here are this year's potholders for swapping this weekend. if you are participating and the number of potholders is freaking you out, no worries. i made extra.

Day 60 of 365.

Been missing a few days. I'm not going to crucify myself. I didn't sleep up for over two months.

This is a lovely rare palm in my friend Danny's yard.

If you climb up in his tallest tree you can see 100+ species of awesome palms

from all over the world. Pretty incredible sight.

Hopefully it doesn't get to cold this winter.

Here's a corner of Jeffrey's Listening Room. You can see a very small part of his Lp collection and his computer where he records lps. There's a Heywood-Wakefield Chair and a small collections of record related goodies.

Here's Jango out of the package. Note the chromed cube to the left.

Happy Women's Day everyone :-)

It was pouring today, but we decided to have photography club anyways!

We had it at my house,

so here we are, in the rain,

with a broken umbrella,

and a lamp thats getting soaked.

and of course it was to dark for anything to comeout anyways.

but here is the best i got,

a few more coming.

Project 365: 129/365

Chinese Camp, Tuolumne

California

Our first stop on a recent weekend photo outing to Yosemite National Park with my two older boys was the oldest church in Tuolumne county. Jon (my eldest son), who has never shown much interest in photography, had a borrowed camera in hand and started emulating Chris (my middle son) and me. We just told him to keep it on auto mode and experiment . Well, he really surprised himself and came home with some pretty nice shots. This is one of his very first shots. That's me through the window. As he doesn't have a Flicker account I felt compelled to post this shot on his behalf.

Some images from the mean streets of Agoura Hills.. LOL... Nothing mean about this place.. its peaceful :) But I have added some grit to these images to make you think otherwise!

Here is the entrance to a marina on a dreary day. While the day is calm you can see a whole lot of weeds and detritus floating down the river!

Here's the rear of the lens. Rear retainer removed, rear element held with scotch tape, filter ring glued on with epoxy keeping threads clear.

I've been wanting to make a few L4D figs for awhile now, but I onle have the right parts to make Bill... Yeah... Guess who's the WIP in the background. Hint: He's from L4D2.

Can you see them? They are Acrocanthosaurus footprints in the water

Annewiek here: Often people ask me "is it really worth getting a more expensive dock?" When Frank reviewed the OWC dock.

Yes, it is. This USB stick didn't work on my MacBook Pro on any port (tried all my dongles) but I put it in the OWC dock and voila, it works.

Thanks, OWC! Get your own dock here: amzn.to/2quq0Wb

I am getting more and more jealous to Franks DELL XPS15, it seems to work all the time. Ah well, maybe when I have my birthday next year :)
