everything is bright and peaceful here at holmes lake until a nasty storm comes in. Everyone is blown to one side and another until in their cars. Fisherman and all their gear go in the lake coming out furious and running to their cars. Once a beautiful day full of sun-rays and soccer now a day full of darkness.I have to say it was beautiful either way.
Early morning, New Year's Day, Leeds. I wish there were more space at the top of the picture, but this is all the camera managed to grab. Still, on balance there's enough here to keep me happy. It was a nice moment.
The rain started a few minutes later. 2007's maiden sun burned all too briefly.
I've not really been out a lot to take pictures as much as I should. This was just a five minute, go outside and take a picture thing. No big deal, but I will try to get out and do more.
Spade McSoil has a mountain of dirt he wants to move to build a sports arena. There's only one really good spot to place that dirt. Boat owners are really going to be upset!

Here's to you the weather forecast for the next hundred years, brought me this morning by an angel.
Morning: high pressure. Bright shining sun alternates its kisses with embraces of pure puff clouds, blown by the light breeze from north. You will never get sweat. Rain will fall, but never heavily or dangerously for environment and people. Your picnic stuff will be safe too, and the thirsty trees and lawns will be kept calm, and their greens will be the greenest ever seen.
Evenings will bring orange-red endless sunsets, sunset birds will forever sing, just like spheres' music. Nights will be perfect for lovers: fresh, fragrant, sweetly dark, with so many stars one could not believe it.
And every new morning will whisper to you love at every single heartfelt thank you for being a blessed creature among living earthly creatures.
Please come with us! L16 - booth number!
Our dealer Little closet will sell our brand Ylang Garden at Dusit Thani Hotel, Bangkok, Latidoll Lover Party Thailand.

Ok, so I know it's not the best composition, but it was nearly *impossible* for me to get a sharp in-flight shot of these guys! This was one of the clearest ones, and I just thought it was soooooo cute how his little face looked, with his little probosis or whatever all curled up like that! :)

I went looking for Comet Lovejoy at Stanwell Tops but did not manage to find it using my zero astronomy skills. Took this on the Sony Nex-5N. 10 Shot panorama stitched and processed in CS5.
Here is one of three photos taken on Thursday. Ottavia was showing me her tree that has been grafted to bear both pears and apples. All three photos are of the same tree.
Ottavia and Joe's yard is small but they have packed so much into it, that I am always impressed. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day:)
The balloon darknet is powered by occupyhere.org, a firmware hack on a wireless router. For RTF, I upgraded the router with a significantly larger aerial, for increased range.

Have you ever been to a railway station in a small German town? On Sunday morning in November and at really very low temperatures?
Well, then you know, what I am talking about, if I tell you that this makes you feel, as if you had taken a flight to an extraterrestial destination - and had arrived there.
No counter, no pub, no loo, no open door, no cat, no people. Just you! Even not any noise. NOTHING! Nothing that tells you, you are in a town. Nothing that makes you hope, there might be a train coming!
