A U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Hercules with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 152 prepares to take off during an expeditionary runway training exercise at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, June 21, 2017. The aircraft communicated with Marine Air Control Squadron (MACS) 4 Detachment B as they trained to construct an expeditionary landing zone to gain experience and increase operational readiness. Found another late 40's Hercules Sports but it was HAMMERED so I just shot the head badge...

A RNZAF C130 HERC Landing Manoeuvre

I was at work at 4am for a charter which ended up being cancelled for weather. So, while waiting for timmies to open (Its not 24 hours here!), I decided to get some pics of this Herc.

Hastings Electronics and Radio Club members Phil G3MGQ, Mike M0EDU, Peter G0FUU and Steve 2E0GHX, setting up HERC operations at St. Richard's Catholic College in Bexhill on April 17th, the day prior to the college's ARISS contact with Tim Peake. The afternoon went very well and we were treated extremely well as usual by Dr. Joolz Durkin, the college's lead Science Teacher. A busy day leading into a fantastic one for St. Richard's, and we are proud to be a part of this amazing event. RSGB display stands shown in some images pending a few tweaks tomorrow (18th April 2016), Mike M0EDU's Amateur Radio History display, and the HERC G6HH station kindly organised and implemented by Phil G3MGQ. G6HH here running on a full G5RV. We are also pleased to be working in co-operating with FISTS CW, as an affiliated club and hope to work a mixture of CW and voice on contact day.

During the 60's these Nike Hercules Surface to Air Missles were peppered all over the U.S.A. I was a radar operator station in Dillsboro,IN just outside of Cincy Ohio.

My friend Chris and I had only seen one other Moroccan herc prior to Saturdays at Farnborough. This is mine taken on a fleeting visit to Luton in June 1999. They seem to have re arranged the way they present the serial.

An ex 711th SOS/AFRes herc gunship sits forlornly in one of the far flung corners of AMARC. From other photos I have seen, believe this to be 54-1627. There were only two in AMARC in Jul 1992. The other, 55-0040, had no outer wings.

Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252 provides the Marine Air-Ground Task Force commander with air-to-air refueling, assault support and offensive air support, day and night under all weather conditions during expeditionary, joint, or combined operations. The squadron has supported these operations since its activation June 1, 1928. VMGR-252 remains the oldest continually active squadron in the Marine Corps. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
