claw and I are contemplating the stash and this pattern of Véronik Avery's from Knitting Classic Style.
The pattern is knit in Cascade Eco Wool which is basically an aran-like weight. I don't really have any of that in stash (gasp) anymore. Drats, I say.
I saw this as I was reaching for the loaf directly to the left...the all rye one.
I don't trust that spelt stuff.
Our 5 month old kitten Trixie was "helping" me with my quilting. I was about to cut my batting to size and she kept bringing her toys to play on my cutting board!
Actually it's only helpful if you were wondering if you could camp there. No, no you can't camp. And you're possibly on the Connemara Loop. I take photos of signs like this in hopes that later I can figure out where I actually was. Thankfully Renvyle Castle is on the map. Not that the map easily shows you how to get there. All part of the challenge.
Some parts of the Coast Path have a plethora of mileage signs like this section from Cape Cornwall to Sennen Cove. The signs seemed to be placed every quarter of a mile or so, so progress checking was very easy!
On our way back to the hostel, we stopped here for a beer (me) and coffee (Jessica) and bathroom break. In the nearby square there was a guy playing the guitar and singing American pop songs. It felt really incongruous.
Also, it turned out that this was the square that was hoppin' instead.
Although this person may have had the right idea initially, cleaning up after their pet and then leaving the bag near the sidewalk - maybe 30 feet from a garbage can - is worse than if they had simply left it alone. Although pet waste is also a pollution issue, adding the plastic bag is much worse, as that will not biodegrade.
