Walked to wilkos with my camera (never would have done this if I didn't have the 365 in mind!) and saw a few things worth photographing on the way. Ended up choosing the frosty car shots as the shot for today, but I still like these and the fact that I actually went out and took them. The project is working so far.
Norfolk Southern ES40DC 7596 and Amtrak 25 lead Northeast Regional 138 northbound at milepost 13 in Ashland, Virginia. Amtrak P42DC 25 crapped out and Norfolk Southern sent ES40DC 7596 to rescue the train.
Adventure Day with Matt-Man. Went to Blacktown to have a Maccas Breakie, then watch Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (3rd movie of the year, and it was BRILLIANT! n_n Then we trained it out to Parramatta to do my survey at Dymocks, where Matt was so helpful with taking down facts regarding the store and the services, which was so helpeful. We played in the fountains, and went and looked at the petting zoo in the shopping centre -yes we're still little kids. Then we trained it back to Blacktown to wait for the Mumma bear to pick us up. The rest of the afternoon shall be recorded in next photo.

On the field trip to Chicago I was trying to take images of architecture that you normally would not think to take.
They emptied this drawer completely out in the living room and then climbed inside. You can see why it's going to take me several months to unpack. ;-)
I thought it was going to tell me where (like, "on the front of the computer") the hi-speed USB port was located.
The guy behind the desk was awesome. He was the first and only person who could give us answers about the delay.
Pete and I both set up our cameras in the basement to take photos during the beer pong matches. We learned quickly that either wireless remote, when clicked, would set off both cameras. Naturally, I have a billion photos, each seconds apart, including this one, where Garrison tried to block both cameras at once.
We've been building baby stuff today, a process made immeasurably simpler due to the helpfulness of a particularly dense cat.
claw and I are contemplating the stash and this pattern of Véronik Avery's from Knitting Classic Style.
The pattern is knit in Cascade Eco Wool which is basically an aran-like weight. I don't really have any of that in stash (gasp) anymore. Drats, I say.
Our 5 month old kitten Trixie was "helping" me with my quilting. I was about to cut my batting to size and she kept bringing her toys to play on my cutting board!
Of course, it's even more helpful if you can read Chinese.
The subway system, built in 1999, is clean and efficient. The trains are made by Siemens. They stop on a dime.
As the train approaches, an icy-cold, computerized female voice announces in both Chinese and English: "The train is arriving. Do not overpass the safe yellow line or jump on the track." That's very helpful advice.
A sign on the wall advises us: "Please do not chase and create a disturbance on the train." We decide to heed that advice as well.
