Bargain bin hair wasn't fixed with a boil wash! How do you get the kinks out?! I'm not ready to concede to a haircut or try a reroot just yet. Any ideas Flickrland?! (Flat irons melt this type of hair apparently! Glad it was a small section!)

Bradford Research Center held its annual Sweet Corn Tasting on Aug. 19, 2014. Visitors sampled several varieties of corn grown at the center and gave personal ratings based on flavor. The results are helpful for farmers looking to grow what people like the most.

michael was looking at the menu in korean, and this kid just started speaking fluent english to him and telling what everything was. he was cute.

This was on the back of an old print bought at a "yard sale" in Louisville. Thought it would be helpful on a site full of picture!!(ha ha)

These strange hands are on a pole on the river side of Embankment Tube Station. I have no idea what they were for.

 

When our guide (Peter I think) turned up he didn't have enough change, so he promised to give me mine as soon as some other punters paid. This didn't take long and he handed me several notes just as a large bunch of fellow tourists rolled up. They all tried to give their money to me :D

 

I like to think I could have given them quite a good ghost tour. Not one that was in any way accurate of course... ;D

Working at home with two dogs is challenging when they both want to sit on my lap while I work. Good thing they're little dogs.

this summer saw a lot of changes for all of us, not the least of which the boychik cut off his hair! all by himself, and he won't let me trim the back of it. he says if i want to cut hair, i can cut my own. i just want to even it out! boychik makes me crazy. (he's still cute though, even if his hair has one or two wonky, i-cut-it-myself spots.)

Hmm I'm not sure they really should suggest using the lift...
